Arden's POV -
Arden scrunched his nose, the fragrant scent of flowers surrounding him. Quiet voices could be heard near the foot of the bed, which sounded both familiar and unfamiliar for some strange reason.
'I hear...Arien, Arjen, and...'
He paused. He did not recognize the final voice.
Arden opened his eyes slowly, not expecting to be greeted with the sight of an extravagant room with a gold chandelier.
"Huh? Where..."
He sat up, eyes opening wide in surprise as he saw his reflection in the mirror. This caught the attention of the other inhabitants of the room.
Arien stepped away from the servant tidying her hair, running excitedly toward the bed.
"Arden! You're awake!"
Soon, he was lying down on the bed again, this time with his sister on top of him.
"I greet your imperial highness, the fifth prince."
The maid, who had been helping Arien, was now standing at the side of the bed.
"You are...?"
He looked at the maid awkwardly, unsure of what to do.
"I am Ishina, the head maid of Syviolla Castle. Due to some circumstances, I have been separated from their imperial highnesses, the first princess and the fourth prince."
Arden nodded.
"I see. What happened?"
Hearing this, Ishina began to smile.
"Congratulations, your imperial highnesses. You underwent manifestation, even as the progenies of a commoner."
She glanced at Arden, looking him over meticulously.
"Though your imperial highness, the fifth prince, has also undergone manifestation, it seems as though the growth is even less noticeable."
Arden looked down at his body, then at his sister. Sure enough, the height difference between the two became much more prominent, with Arden's limbs considerably shorter and his head while sitting reaching only up to his sister's nose bridge.
"Huh?"
