Hundreds to thousands of ships flowed in and out of the Coruscant system each day, numbering in the millions over the course of a year. These vessels, varying from small freighters to colossal bulk merchant transports, filled the spacelanes in constant motion. It was a sight so common, so ingrained in the daily routine of the galaxy’s capital, that it hardly drew notice anymore. This was Coruscant, the heart of the Galactic Republic, hailed as the jewel of the Core Worlds.

The bustling skylanes above Coruscant teemed with repulsorlift crafts and speeders, zipping between towering skyscrapers that stretched endlessly into the atmosphere. This ecumenopolis, a world so advanced that every inch of its surface had been transformed into a sprawling, planet-wide city, housing trillions of people. It was a place of unfathomable scale and complexity, where the elite rubbed shoulders with the destitute, and power and influence were traded as easily as credits.

To someone from the Bolar Federation, the idea of such a planet might have sounded like pure propaganda. How could a single world sustain so many lives, be so advanced? Surely, they would think, it was an exaggeration mouthpiece by the Republic to maintain its image of prosperity and strength.

Yet here it was, a world that never flickered, never dimmed, its ceaseless activity an undeniable evidence to its vitality. At its heart stood the Senate building, an enormous dome that symbolized the unity—or perhaps, the control—of the galaxy. Inside, the constant hum of chatter, the sound of a thousand voices debating, arguing, and politicking. Senators from every corner of the galaxy gathered to discuss matters of state, but today, their focus had narrowed to a two, urgent topics.

First is Christophsis

Word had reached the Senate that the Outer Rim planet was on the verge of being attacked by Separatist forces. The room buzzed with nervous and concerned whispers of strategy and speculation. Christophsis was strategically important due it's location — sutuated on a major Corellian Run hyperlane. The tension was heavy as the Senate awaited the next move, hoping to prevent yet another planet from falling to the growing threat of the Separatists.

Not counting the valuable minerals mined exclusively on Christophsis, allowing the Separatists to take control of the planet would grant them a significant strategic advantage. Positioned along major hyperspace lanes, Christophsis was more than just a resource hub, it was a key transit point. Its capture would give the Separatists a foothold in the surrounding systems, potentially disrupting trade and military supply routes throughout the region. It could even serve as a launching point for further incursions deeper into Republic space, making its defense crucial for the Republic's continued stability in the Outer Rim.

The Senate chamber buzzed with heated discussions as senators from across the galaxy wrestled with the crisis at hand. The grand hall, illuminated by floating holograms of representatives, flickered with urgency as Christophsis’ fate was at the mercy of the Senate.

Senator Beren Vinn from Eriadu began, "Christophsis is more than just another system," his voice carrying a weight of experience. "It’s a vital hyperspace junction, and if we lose it, the Separatists will have a foothold that could endanger dozens of nearby systems. The minerals alone—"

"But we don’t have the numbers!" Senator Anno Keff from Mygeeto interrupted. "Our forces are already stretched to the breaking point. We can’t pull clones from defending systems like Rodia or Felucia. The Separatists are everywhere!" He gestured wildly, his frustration evident. "The Separatists are attacking on multiple fronts, and we barely have enough ships to keep them at bay."

Another senator, Lyra Malix from Malastare, took the floor. "We need to be realistic about what we can do, Beren. We have only a few million clones—millions, for a galaxy of hundreds of trillions! And planetary defense forces can't be utilized as offensive forces because we lack numerical superiority at the moment to patch the gaps on our side. We can’t just throw them around based on speculation. Christophsis doesn’t even have concrete evidence of an impending attack."
