~Sometimes~

It was 2:47 am

Some people were home and some were not
Some were asleep and some weren't
It had been 2 days since the incident
Kai has yet to wake up
Namjoon has been to the hospital every other hour unless he's sleeping
Jin walked into Namjoon's office and turned on the lights
There he saw his husband asleep on his desk with his phone in hand
Jin looked at his computer and saw the hospital security camera footage
It was in real time
Just watching Kai
Jin sighed
He walked to the lights and turned them back off
He walked to namjoon and shook him a little
"Honey.."
namjoon shot up
"HES AWAKE?!" He said coming out of his sleep
Jin grabbed him
"Sweety.. let's go to sleep. Heeseung is there. He will call if anything happens.." Jin was telling Namjoon
Namjoon was half awake
"No.. no.. I need to make sure he's okay..." he was falling asleep in Jin's hands
Jin shook a bit more
"Baby please.."
Namjoon woke up a little more
"Come to bed.. don't you ever get tired of falling asleep like this?" Jin asked
Namjoon looked at him tiredly
A tear fell from his eye
Jin's heart broke a little
He knew he was tired and overwhelmed
He didn't want to sleep like this but he just wants to make sure he's okay
"Sometimes.." he tiredly admitted and got up then followed him up stairs

{With Yeonbin}

Yeonjun hasn't gotten a good nights rest in the past 2 days
He knows Arin was the one that hurt Kai
Soobin was right next to him sleeping
Yeonjun looked over to him and kissed his head
He quietly got out of bed
He left the room and walked out the hall
He hears Namjoon's door close once he stepped into the hall
He walked to the loft and saw someone on their phone
"Taehyun?" Yeonjun whispered
Taehyun looked up
"Yeonjun?" He whispered back
Yeonjun sat down with his best friend
"Why are you still up?" He asked quietly
Taehyun sighed
"Can't sleep again.. can I be honest?" He said and scooted closer to Yeonjun
He shut his phone off
They were now sitting in the dark in each others company
"You can always be honest with me.." Yeonjun whispered
"...I'm scared" he admitted
Yeonjun looked at him
"Of what?" He asked
"Soobin and Beomgyu have been spiraling trying to find O.M.G... Beomgyu has been very protective of me.." Taehyun said
"Aside from Soobin-ssi... I'm the only one that's yet to be hurt.. I'm scared.." he told Yeonjun
Yeonjun didn't know what to say
It felt like Taehyun was reading his mind though
He felt the same way about Soobin and Beomgyu
Just last night he was worried about Taehyun's safety
He let his hand feel around for Taehyun's
He found it and locked their pinkies together
"Do you ever wish this wasn't our life?.." Yeonjun asked really quietly
Taehyun fell silent
He tightened the grip of his pinkie to Yeonjun's
"Sometimes.." he admitted

Yeonjun felt like they were being watched but he didnt want to look around

Jungwon was standing in his doorway listening to their conversation with the lights off so they couldn't see him
He was right behind them
He felt the same way they did though
The house doesn't feel like a home right now
Jungwon is afraid for his life every day because of his uncle
The only distraction he has is Jay
Nobody is promised tomorrow
He could never imagine how Heeseung was doing

"Sometimes I wish I could convince him to leave this life and start a new one.. but I know he won't.." Taehyun said
Yeonjun sighed knowing that feeling
"I love him... I'd never leave him... but I dream of the day he'd leave this for me." Yeonjun whispered
Taehyun was silent
"Jungwon..." he spoke

Jungwon's heart sank
He was quiet for awhile
"...yes hyung.." he finally answered

Yeonjun knew he wasn't crazy but he also wasn't bothered that it was him
"I thought it was you.." Taehyun said
"Please don't be mad... I wasn't trying to ease drop... I just can't sleep." Jungwon explained
"It's okay... but I have a question for you." Taehyun said
Jungwon walked to the couches and sat on the other couch they weren't on
"Yes..?" He asked
"Do you ever feel like a second choice?.." Taehyun asked
Jungwon sat there thinking of the words to say
"He loves me.. he'd never leave me for anyone else.." Jungwon said
"...he never said anything about another person." Yeonjun said
Jungwon understood
He understood from the beginning but he's never admitted those feelings out loud
"So... do you?" Taehyun whispered
Jungwon looked into the darkness
"Sometimes.."
