Elara was laying on the couch, head on Owens lap. He had surprised her by flying down to New York to see her. He showed up at her door with a bouquet of red roses, something he hadn't done since the first year they were together.
He took her out to dinner at a fancy seafood restaurant. Elara being Elara, just got chicken tenders though. They had got along pretty well throughout the date, other than Owen leaving her a few times to take a phone call. She also had to pay the bill, but that was normal because she was a lot richer than him.
The only other issue they had had that night was when there was paparazzi following them and Owen got upset. He knew that the paparazzi was something that came with her, but it always stressed him out. It stressed Elara out at first too, so she's just been trying to warm him up to the flashing lights.
