After making sure Elara was fast asleep, Taylor unwrapped herself from the brunettes arms. Considering Elara wasn't very heavy, it was easy to get out.

Her next task would involve a lot less kindness.

She stormed down the stairs, each step echoing her frustration. Her fists were clenched, and her jaw was set tight. As she reached the bottom step, she paused for a moment to get herself in check. There was a chance this girl didn't get Elara totally out of her mind for no reason. Taylor didn't know much, but she knew Elara's music was like a diary to her, and she listened to the music enough to know she was trying to get away from getting high.

Taylor knew the confrontation was necessary, but it didn't mean she wanted to do it. She didn't even know what this girl did, or who she was. Although, she could tell she was bad news by the way she was sitting on the floor, completely unaware of the blonde who was now right in front of her.

A cough came out of Taylor's mouth as a way to get the attention of the girl on the floor. "Okay, I'm going to be straight up here. Who the hell are you and why the fuck did I come here to find Elara high on the ground. She can't even form a goddamn sentence!"

"Woah, chill out!" She said, with a laugh. "I'm Clara, I'm Elara's childhood best friend. I'm staying here for a few weeks until I get some things sorted out."

Taylor was not happy with that answer. "Okay, but that still doesn't explain enough. If your her best friend, you should know not to get her high! Have you never listened to her music?"

she felt her frustration boiling over as she glared at Clara, who seemed completely unfazed. her voice rose, quivering with anger, but the younger blonde just shrugged with indifference. The lack of reaction scared Taylor. She knew if she stayed here, than Elara wouldn't be in good hands. But she couldn't kick someone out of a house that isn't hers.

"Look, she wanted the gummies. I just have them. Had, sorry. We ran out." Clara picked up an empty ziplock bag. Did this girl just not care about Elara at all? What was she even doing here?

After yelling at Clara some more, Taylor got upset over the fact that she wasn't getting a reaction, and just stormed out.

She gripped the steering wheel tightly, her knuckles turning white with the force of anger. Her eyes were fixed on the road, but her mind was racing with thoughts for Elara's safety. The mirror on the radio did nothing to help, so she turned on spotify. Although when Elara's song 'Clean Slate' started playing, which was about recovery from addiction, Taylor just groaned and turned all the music off.

Elara's eyes fluttered open, her head reminding her of her night. She thought that was enough of a punishment and shoved her head back into the pillow, but the world wasn't done. She stood up, running to the bathroom and leaving over the toilet, barely making it before puking her guts out.

She felt a warm pair of hands behind her grab her hair and pull it up. She looked up to see a tired Clara with a small smile and slight concern in her eyes.

She tried to talk, but just turned around when another wave of nausea ran through her.

After feeling like she had lost 20 pounds and throwing up all her internal organs, she laid back against the bathroom wall, and Clara patted her on the back.
