Eda walked into Art Life, she had tried to sleep but had a terrible night. Feeling guilty about hiding the truth but so scared and anxious too. It was strange of her to pass a night over to her Hala's when she had already moved so much stuff to Serkan's loft as soon as his memory was back.
Not only would that hurt Serkan and deepen the hurt caused by her refusal, but it also raised questions in Ayfer's mind. Ayfer kept asking why had she refused, what was wrong, if she had doubts, but Eda was really too worn out to anwser, and selfishly sought confort in her aunt's caresses and confort without telling her anything.
It was still better than sleeping at the loft, because if she had, chances would be these caresses would have been Serkan's, and she would yield.
She didn't have the strenght to lie to him, not when she was feeling so vulnerable, he would break her resolve way too easily in the intimacy of their bed, and she would melt in tears and blurt out the truth. She couldn't.
She couldn't tell her loved ones. Hala. Serkan. If she had to die, the later they learnt, the less they'd hurt. So she had needed that, one night on her own to cry in silence and cope with the tsunami that had hit her life, and solidify her resolve, no one had to know.
She knew it was odd to return to the office as if nothing was once she had refused Serkan's proposal but she had to act af if everything was normal and keep the composure or she would break.
Maybe with time, she was becoming exactly like Serkan. Focussing on work helped her keeping the anxiety and stress away. She was a robot of her own now.
When she arrived into the conference room to her office, Serkan was already there.
She inhaled and pretended everything was normal. "Günaydin." She removed her winter coat, and was about to open her computer.
Serkan looked at her from his seat over the conference room. "Günaydin ? It was a good morning for you, you slept well ?" He asked.
Eda shrugged. "Tabiki, it's a normal morning yani.." She avoided.
"Eda...yapma." Serkan pleaded and Eda looked at him emotionally, unable to be insensible to his eyes any longer.

She felt Serkan's intense gaze on her all along and looked up to see him standing right by her. She breathed.
"I know I have hurt you a lot in these past few weeks and it was wrong of me to expect your unconditional love as if it all never happened." Serkan began sincerely and Eda's heart sank, she hated to see the misery on his face and give justifications for what she had so genuinely forgiven him for.
