The doorbell rang and Eda rose from her seat, bracing her heart. Ayfer happily greeted Seyfi and Aydan, while Serkan moved to her directly.
He leaned in very close and kissed her cheek, lingering for a couple of seconds and making her insides ache as they shared an eyelock and all Serkan could note behind her polite smile was how tired she looked, Eda's face was worn out, she looked exhausted. "Iyi misin ?" He asked with care.

"Evet, just sleepy. Give me your coat, gel." Eda softly prompted and helped him remove his coat and went to hang it as Ayfer invited Serkan to seat after she had set Seyfi and Aydan. Eda took a seat beside Serkan and they all began dinner.
Serkan noted Eda serving him food but she hadn't had a single bite, he offered her many of the things on the table, but Eda refused with a kind smile.
Ceren looked at them with worry, it wasn't right of Eda not to tell people. If she wasn't eating, her loved oones had to know why and know how to help her. She was making it harder for them and herself at the same time.
"Here, köfte rolls..." Serkan offered and Eda refused again. "No thanks." She smiled kindly at him.

"Ah oh, Eda, that's my receipee, they're amazing." She worried seeing Eda not eating.
"Girls these days Aydan, Eda's not been eating properly at all since the wedding and the accident, I fear she had developped an eating disorder." Ayfer eyed her niece.
"Here, have some rice from my plate." Serkan offered Eda a forkful of rice and Eda shook her head.
"Hayir, I had a snack with the girls earlier, I'm really not hungry." Eda excused herself and Melo swallowed.
"Evet, she took that giant crepe with nutella, told you it was a bad idea right before dinner !" Melo said cheerfully and Ceren eyed her, she was lying to cover Eda, ofcourse.
Ayfer inhaled in relief that Eda wasn't keeping herself hungry. "These girls, how many times you tell them things but sometimes I feel like they are still children." She quipped.
"Whataver it is, let them, youth doesn't come back Ayfer." Aydan let out.
"Are you feeling your age Aydan Hanim ?" Seyfi teased.
