Karl was placed on medical leave from the army on 7/10/43 and returned to an active duty status on 2/4/44 taking command of the seaside defenses near Normandy. Another year will pass before his bridge battle over the Rhine, the battle for Loddondorf bridge where his finest hour took place and ultimately, nearly fought to the death in the Reichstag building on May 2nd 1945 during the battle of Berlin.

The Tiger crew of Ritter Rot was confirmed K.I.A during the battle of Ardennes, where the largest tank battle of Europe took place. Marcus was awarded the Knights cross with oak leaves for his exceptional leadership over his tank squadron, and for scoring a near dozen confirmed kills before he and his crew met their fate. Hearing of their actions and battle scores, they where given the honorary title of "Tank Ace".

Hauptmann Kris and survivors of his tank crew where sent to a British POW camp  until the end of the devastating world war.

Ben Rooks was sent home along with 230 dead men by cargo ship, with full military honors he was buried at Kensal Green Cemetery London with the Africa star, Italy star, and the Victorias Cross for his self-sacafrice to save Phillip from a two versus one fatal battle. Which in the end saved Phillips life at the cost of his own.

The Wehrmacht forces where forced out of Sicily and over the months of fighting, Italy was finally liberated and Benito Mussolini and his power was evicted from Italy. Forcing Germany to the borders of France where D-day and the battle for Europe came forth.

That's the epilogue ladies and gentlemen now here's the breakdown for what's coming on up for the third book in the series called "Katyusha".

It'll be Russian themed with the first Female sniper ever to enter the Russian ranks, but that's all I'll tell you ;) You'll have to wait until I post the first chapter a few days or week from now.:)
