Tim's POV
I heard her shuffling around the bed, her eyes started to open. I was reading a magazine, the only thing that kept me awake all night here besides the constant fear of her not waking up. She opened her mouth to talk but no words came out.

Lucy's POV
I opened my eyes to see Tim sitting there reading a magazine. As his eyes met mine, they grew and a smile formed across his face. I wanted to say something but i don't know what. I quickly checked the room to see if Luke was here and when he wasn't, i couldn't help but sigh with relief.
Tim: how are you feeling?
Lucy: sore, definitely. other than that i'm fine, i should be getting home.
i don't want Luke to get any more mad.
Tim: Lucy, you're in the hospital, that's for a reason. including internal bleeding
i froze up, he knows i didn't get the surgery, maybe he doesn't though
Lucy: I know, but i really need to get going, it's weird how i could get that twice you know.
Tim: Lucy, i know you never got the surgery. why though? it's just going to help you
Lucy: i forgot
I started to sit up and Tim held his arm out to prevent me from sitting up any further.
Tim: you're not going until a doctor says so
Lucy: ugh fine you win
i said with a slight smile, he smiled back
Tim: you hungry?
Lucy: yeah, you know what i could really go for right now?
Tim: veggie burger with fries and extra pickles?
he said holding up a bag
Lucy: you remembered!
Tim: of course i did
Lucy: someone pays a little too much attention to me
Tim: i'm just an observant person
Lucy: i guess so, i am also very observant. i noticed those slight eyes bags and dark under circles, you've also yawned twice now. were you here all night
Tim: what? nooo
i stared at him. he shook his head no and i just stared again
Tim: mhmm
Lucy: you need to get some rest
Tim: i should be saying that to you
Lucy: yeah well you see, i slept, you didn't-
just then john and jackson came in the room
Tim: saved by the bell
John was holding a huge teddy bear
Lucy: oh my gosh thank you so much
Jackson handed me flowers
Lucy: thank you jackson
Tim handed me a card and small gift basket with a change of clothes
Lucy: thank you Tim
i said giving him a big smile. Grace walked in and explained how i just missed Rachel
Tim: Rachel- right

Tim's POV
I completely forgot about Rachel, i was so wrapped up in Lucy. and after Angela just told me she was probably jealous of Lucy...

Lucy's POV
Grace: you'll be free to go home soon in a few hours, i suggest not being alone
Lucy: got it thank you
Grace: of course, if you need anything just push the button
Lucy: i will, thank you
she left the room and john and jackson had to get back to work. They gave me a card that was from Grey.
Tim: oh, Lucy, angela also stopped by and wanted me to give you these
he handed me a card and some chocolates
Lucy: aww, tell her i say thank you
Tim: i will
Lucy: don't you have to get to work?
Tim: Grey let me have the day off, after all, I am your TO and you're not even there
Lucy: true
Tim: so how are you doing?
Lucy: you already asked me-
Tim: I just want to make sure you're okay-
Luke: LUCY?!
he barged in the room and you could hear the anger in his voice. he saw tim was there and was practically red in the face. he quickly changed his tone to sound concerned.
Luke: babe, i was so worried, are you okay? are you hurt?
Lucy: i'm fine, just sore
Luke: did they give you any exams and tests?
he said concerned not for me but that i told them about where most of the bruises actually came from
Lucy: just some because you know, i was kidnapped and suffocated in a barrel
i said trying to lighten the mood
Luke: not funny lucy, i was so so worried
Lucy: i know, im sorry-
Luke: don't be sorry it's not your fault
he gave me a big hug but was gentle with my bruises, he gave me a kiss on the lips and sat down in a chair on the other side of my bed, the one away from Tim.
Tim: i should get going now, just didn't want you to be alone but Luke's here now
Lucy: alright, bye, thanks for everything
Tim: of course
he gave me a hug and gave luke a handshake

Tim's POV
I left the room but something felt off. I don't want to brush it off considering what happened to her the last time i did. i'll just be super cautious about Luke from now on. i can't have another incident like caleb, she can't.
