Chapter 10: Meeting the Guardians

Penelope' s POV

Jack was leading me through a snowy field, must have been in the Arctic cause it had raging winds and sharp bites of cold every now and then, I was holding his hand with my left and covering my face with my right, I called over the wind

"Jack!? Are we there yet?!"

"Nope!! Just a couple of more minutes!" He yelled back

We wandered through the blizzard for a couple off minutes, I mean we had to walk! Apparently Jack thinks its too dangerous to fly in this weather! I mean he IS the winter spirit! Like wtf! Could he not have made the blizzard go away?! My anger passed through me as I saw a very Shiny building built into a giant glacier! My mouth dropped and Jack snickered, I quickly looked over to him and said

"If I would have known the Guardians met in this gorgeous building, I would have dressed better!"

"Hahaha, you look fine!" He reassured me, he gave me a wink that melted my heart a little and we continued to trudge through the blizzard.

Jack's POV

I brought her inside the workshop of North's, you should have seen the look on her face, it was like a little kid seeing its first snow day! I smile and lead her into the Globe room with many balconies full of working Yetis and foolish elves, I saw Phil working and I nodded to let him know we were hear but once he saw Penelope he stopped painting and just stood in awe, what has gotten into him!

I walked up to North's office type room and saw him mourning something to himself while working on a toy ice sculpture, I said

"Penelope wait out here while I go talk to North, uh, Santa.... We call him North"

She nodded, obviously star struck by the over whelming sights, she waited still looking over the balcony to watch a couple of elves electrocute each other.

"Hey North!"

" JACK!!!! I was about to out your face on a milk carton! Where were you?" He asked in a heavy Russian accent,

"I've been around, umm, I also kinda got the girl.... You know, the one that Manny, mention?"

First he just stood with his back to me, then he turned around and had a poker face, I suddenly got pushed out of the way and heard him stomping down the stairs and into the elevator!

I quickly grabbed my staff and flew away to find Penelope before he does!

Penelope' s POV

when jack went to go talk to North I decided to wander around, I know a very stupid idea but it was quite interesting, big huge fluffy things that I assume were Yetis worked on the toys, as I was wondering taking in every detail I heard a very nice soprano voice behind me

"Hi! I'm Tooth fairy, call me Tooth, what's your name?" I quickly turned around and saw a very pretty girl, wait, she had wings, feathers and little humming birds around her, I stood there just examining her beauty! She then stuck her small fingers in my mouth and said

"My! You have beautiful teeth! Oops sorry!" As she slowly backed away, I stood still.

"Um? Hello? Any one in there?" She asked again

"Oh sorry, hi I'm Penelope Seasons, glad to meet you!" I said while shaking her hand, she gave me a surprised look when I mentioned my name, what does my name mean to her!?
