New Perspective ~ A Handsome Jack x Reader Story

Recently...

          Hey all!

          It has been a long time since I touched this story, let alone updated it. I started this story in at the beginning of 2021... and now we're already halfway through 2024. It's insane and unreal how time passes. I feel the same as I did, and yet at the same time I feel like I've aged 100 years HAHA

          I read every comment I get, on ao3 and here, even though I haven't updated this story in a while. I appreciate the love and support that was sent my way! To be oh so truthful... I really hated this story. To me, it felt messy and underwhelming, which I wasn't proud of in the slightest. It began as a silly little dribble, which I only plotted out a little before each chapter. So, inevitably, it got out of hand and became a messy tale that was barely stitched together (at least, in my eyes), and it was too frustrating to continue. I started to revise chapters at the beginning of this year, but I didn't want to publish them until I revised EVERYTHING. It's been over three years - I want it to feel right, you know? 

          I'm posting this for a couple of reasons. One, to say that I am alive and doing well. Two, to say that I haven't forgotten about this story, and I recognize the love you have sent. Three, to say that I'm working on revisions. I want to really feel happy and proud about this story! 

          I don't know how long it'll be! Life has been busy and wonderful, so time always passes by faster than I anticipate. In two weeks, I will be abroad, so that will also screw things up... but we'll see.
