— sixty three

ELIANA DIDNT KNOW HOW long she's been pressing her hands against the large wound, her sweater was no longer white and her hands were stained red. Kira kneeled by Lydia's head, trying to keep her as calm as possible, she didn't want her to lose anymore blood.

The sound of heavy footsteps echoed down the hallway and into the open door to the office. Eliana looked up at Stiles, who peered down to her red hands.

Theo removed his belt immediately, darting into the room and took a knee. Eliana hands slowly pulled away from her body and Theo looped the belt beneath her waist and brought the two end together, tighten the belt over the sweater that he didn't remove.

Lydia's mother stumbled into the room, tearful eyes peering down to her daughter before she entered the room. Lydia panted, groaning at the tightness around her body.

"Stiles." A voice called out from behind. Stiles looked up, meeting Eliana's tear eyed face. "Stiles." Scott called out his name. "Stiles, come on."

"Stiles." Lydia whimpered with a forced smile. "Stiles, I'm fine." Stiles didn't move from the door. "Help, Tracy. Fine Tracy, go."

"It's okay. She's alright." Theo reassured. Eliana nodded. "Come on, Stiles." Stiles took one final look and walked away.

Melissa walked out the surgery room with her stethoscope wrapped around her neck, heart racing as she approached the group of teenagers. Eliana stood up immediately at the sight of her.

How bad is it?" Eliana asked Melissa.

"Could have been worse." Melissa replied, moving around her. "Theo, nice going on that tourniquet, and Eliana, your sweater, kept her from bleeding out. You guys probably saved her life."

Eliana looked over to Theo. Melissa turned to the rest. "All right. She's about to go into surgery. So it's going to be a while." She explained before peering over to her son. "Any other supernatural details that I need to know about or do we just stitch her up and hope for the best."

"It was the tail." Kira spoke softly.

"Yeah, Tracy cut her with the tail if that makes a difference." Eliana declared, looking down at her stained red hands.

"Okay." Melissa hummed and walked away.

"But it wasn't just Tracy." Malia spoke up after she left. "There was the others." She looked between Scott and Stiles with the hopes that they believed her. "The guys in the masks."

Kira cleared her throat and turned to Eliana. "Come, we should wash our hands." Kira took her hands and the two woman walked away.

Eliana woke up extra early that morning before school to visit Lydia at the hospital. Though she didn't spend much time with her since Lydia was still in the ICU, so Eliana decided to head to school after.

That midafternoon, Eliana met up with Scott and Kira at the library where they were studying. "Hey, how's Lydia?" Scott asked watching the girl sit across from them.

"Uh, i didn't know." Eliana answered with a slight smile. "She still in the ICU, so I didn't get to see her."

Scott nodded as he looked over his shoulder to Stiles and Malia coming up the steps. "Did you get in to see Lydia?" Scott asked him.

"No, I tried to use my free period but she's still in the ICU and no one outside family is allowed in." Stiles said with a shrug.

"We got one thing." Malia says, placing a rather thick book on the table.

"Anything in here about half-werewolves, half-kanimas?" Kira asked, prying the book open.

"The Chimere." Scott says, peering down over her shoulder. Eliana looked up at him. "Sorry, the what?"

Scott looked up. "Chimera. It's a creature made of incongruous parts. And if Liam said he found two burial sites, it means Tracy's not the only one."

"Who's the second Chimera?" Kira asked.

"And why would they bury them?" Stiles then asked.

"Deaton thinks it's part of their process." Scott tells them.

"The people in mask." Malia spoke. Eliana looked up to her, she didn't know what people in mask she was talking about.

After school, Eliana and Stiles met back up at the library, they decided to continue their research on the Chimera's somewhere quiet.

"Find anything?" Eliana asked, looking up from the text book, only to find the male sleeping on the book, she slammed her hand on the table, jerking him awake.

"What?" Stiles grumbled, rubbing his eyes.

Eliana shook her head and signed. "I think we should head on home and continue this some other day." She says, beginning to pack up her books.

Stiles stretched his arms over his head and yanked. "Yeah, I guess we should. You need a ride?" He asked, closing the book.

"No, I have my car but thanks, I'll see you tomorrow." Eliana then made her way out the school library and headed to her car, missing the eyes that followed.
