THE COUPLE OF DAYS HAVE BEEN CONFUSINGFOR everyone, there was moments where they thought they we're forgetting about someone or something, that's meant to be there, they just don't know what that thing is.
Things seemed normal but that small part where they see something that just seemed to familiar but— they just don't know what it is or what they could do about it when they can't figure it out.
Lydia Martin and Malia Tate arrived promptly at the woods after receiving a text from Scott. The werewolf found himself in the middle of the woods, with no memory of ever traveling there.
"I went to bed at home and I woke up out in the woods." Scott explained, passing them each a flashlight. "About a mile out. I think there's a reason why this has happened. I've been out here before."
The two girls signed and followed Scott further into the woods. "It was the beginning of sophomore year, I remember because it was all I could think about."
"What were you doing?" Malia asked.
"I was looking for a dead body." Scott declared, finding it completely normal to be out in the woods, alone.
Lydia hummed. "That's morbid."
"So then, what was I doing out here all alone?" Scott questioned, there was an empty spot in his memory that he can't remember.
"I wish I could help you, but I didn't know you then." Lydia exclaimed, remembering each time she passed him in the hallway.
"I was still a coyote so I might've tried to eat it." Malia said, shrugging.
"Deaton said that my subconscious is trying to tell me something." Scott says, "But, I—I need you guys to help me figure out what it's saying."
"Maybe you were just a curious teenager." Lydia suggested. "You heard there was a body."
"But how?" Scott grunted lowly. "I never watched the news and I didn't have a police scanner."
"Your mom works at the hospital, maybe she got called in and you overheard her?" Malia declared, Scott cocked his head and turned around, stopping them.
"My mom wasn't home that night." Scott replied, looking down into the woods. "I live five miles away from here. How did i get here?"
"You drive."
"I didn't have a car."
"You ran."
Scott cocked his head. "I couldn't have. I had asthma." Lydia furrowed as they continued to walk. "I was hiding, but they knew that I was here."
"Maybe you made a ton of noise with your asthmatic breathing." Malia tells him.
Scott stopped and looked back. "How would they know that it was me?" Scott snapped his head back, frowning at the distance memory. "Why would the sheriff even think that I would be out here?"
