Tyler's grin grew wider as he took in my nervous demeanor. "So, Sophia, what do you say we start with a little initiation?" he asked, his eyes glinting with mischief.

I tried to play it cool, but my heart was racing. "I don't know what you're talking about," I said, trying to sound nonchalant.

Tyler chuckled. "Oh, come on. Don't play dumb. You know exactly what I'm talking about."

He snapped his fingers, and his friends closed in around us, forming a semi-circle. I felt trapped, like a rabbit in a snare.

"Let's see...what shall we do to welcome Sophia to our school?" Tyler mused, tapping his chin thoughtfully.

One of his friends, a burly guy with a cruel grin, spoke up. "How about a little game of 'Truth or Dare'?"

Tyler's eyes lit up. "Perfect! Sophia, you're going to love this."

I knew I was in trouble. I'd heard of "Truth or Dare" games gone wrong, and I didn't want to be the latest victim.

"Tyler, I don't think that's a good idea," I said, trying to sound firm.

But Tyler just laughed. "Oh, come on. It'll be fun. You can't back down now."

He turned to his friends. "Alright, let's get started. Sophia, you're first. Truth or dare?"

I hesitated, unsure of what to do. But before I could make a decision, Tyler's friend, the burly guy, spoke up.

"I dare her to sing in front of the whole school!"

The group erupted into cheers and catcalls, and I felt my face burning with embarrassment.

Tyler grinned. "Looks like you've got no choice, Sophia. You're going to be a star!"

And with that, he dragged me towards the school auditorium, his friends following close behind.
