Eira fought valiantly, but Lyrien's treachery had given him the upper hand. Just as all seemed lost, a figure emerged from the shadows, striking down Lyrien and saving Eira's life.

The mysterious savior turned to Eira, revealing a shocking identity. "You're...Arkeia?" Eira stammered, stunned. "But I thought you were dead!"

Arkeia, once a trusted ally, smiled wryly. "I was thought to be dead, but I've been working in secret to bring down the Umbra Collective from within."

Eira's mind reeled as Arkeia explained her plan. "We must gather the remaining Starheart fragments and use them to defeat Arachne once and for all."

Arkeia nodded, her eyes scanning the shadows. "I sense it too. Let's get out of here, now."

As they turned to leave, the voice spoke again, its tone dripping with malice. "You can't escape the darkness, Eira. It's inside you, waiting to consume you."

Eira felt a chill run down her spine. She knew that voice, knew the evil that lurked behind it.

"Xandros," she whispered, her eyes locked on the darkness.

And then, a figure emerged from the shadows, its eyes glowing with an otherworldly energy...
