Chapter10:The Demon World

I couldn't believe what Tyler was telling me. Demons, half-demons, secret worlds...it sounded like something out of a fantasy novel. But Tyler's expression was dead serious.

"What do you mean, bound to the demon world?" I asked, trying to understand.

Tyler hesitated, as if unsure how much to reveal. "Our family made a pact with a powerful demon centuries ago," he said finally. "We agreed to serve him in exchange for power and protection."

I felt a chill run down my spine. "Serve him? What do you mean?"

Tyler's eyes dropped, as if ashamed. "We're his servants, Sophia. We do his bidding. And in return, he gives us power and protection."

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Tyler, the star quarterback, the popular kid...a servant to a demon?

"But why?" I asked, trying to understand. "Why would your family make a pact like that?"

Tyler shrugged. "I don't know. I wasn't there. But I know we can't escape it. We're bound to him, Sophia. Forever."

I felt a surge of fear. What did this mean for me? For Tyler?

And then, I remembered the demon I saw. "What about the demon I saw?" I asked. "The one you pushed away."

Tyler's expression turned grim. "That's Azazel," he said. "He's a powerful demon, one of our master's enemies. He's been trying to expose us, to destroy our family."

I felt like I was in over my head. Demons, half-demons, secret worlds...it was too much to take in.

But one thing was certain - I had to help Tyler. I had to protect him from Azazel, from the demon world.
