Chapter28:The New Prophecy

Lyra's words hung in the air, a sense of foreboding settling over us. "What kind of threat?" Tyler asked, his voice laced with concern.

Lyra hesitated, her eyes darting nervously around the room. "I'm not entirely sure," she admitted. "But the prophecy speaks of a great and ancient evil, one that will bring about a catastrophic reckoning."

Arachne's eyes narrowed. "What prophecy?" she demanded.

Lyra took a deep breath before speaking. "The Prophecy of the Ancients," she said. "It speaks of a time of great darkness, when the very fabric of reality will be torn apart."

Eriol's eyes widened. "That sounds like the prophecy of the Apocalypse," she said.

Lyra nodded. "It is," she confirmed. "But this prophecy speaks of something more. A great and powerful artifact, hidden away for centuries, which will be the key to unlocking the secrets of the universe."

I felt a shiver run down my spine. "What artifact?" I asked.

Lyra's eyes locked onto mine. "The artifact of the gods," she said. "A relic of immense power, forged in the depths of the underworld."

Tyler's eyes widened. "That sounds like the stuff of legend," he said.

Lyra nodded. "It is," she confirmed. "But the prophecy is clear. The artifact will be found, and with it, the fate of the world will be decided."

We stood there, the weight of Lyra's words settling over us. We had just saved the world from one threat, only to face another, even greater challenge.
