I tried to dig my heels into the floor, but Tyler's grip was too strong. He pulled me onto the stage, and the auditorium erupted into cheers and applause. I felt like I was going to die from embarrassment.

Tyler handed me a microphone, and I shook my head, trying to refuse. But he just grinned and said, "Come on, Sophia. Show us what you've got."

I looked out at the sea of faces, and my heart sank. There were hundreds of students staring at me, waiting for me to make a fool of myself.

Tyler started playing a tune on his phone, a cheesy pop song that made me cringe. He gestured for me to start singing, and I felt my face burning with shame.

But then something inside me snapped. I was tired of being pushed around, tired of being humiliated. So I took a deep breath, and I started singing.

At first, my voice was shaky, but as I got into the song, I found my confidence growing. I started belting out the lyrics, and to my surprise, I sounded good.

The audience started cheering, and Tyler looked taken aback. He hadn't expected me to actually sing well.

But then he grinned, and I knew I was in trouble. "Encore!" he shouted, and the audience started chanting along with him.

I tried to hand the microphone back to Tyler, but he refused to take it. "No way, Sophia. You're a star now. Keep singing."

And so I did, singing song after song, with Tyler and his friends cheering me on. But I knew it was all a ruse. They were just waiting for me to slip up so they could pounce.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Tyler let me off the stage. I was shaking with exhaustion and humiliation, but I knew I had to keep my head held high.

As I walked off the stage, Tyler whispered in my ear, "You're not off the hook that easily, Sophia. This is just the beginning."

And with that, he walked away, leaving me to wonder what he had planned next.
