Tyler and I spent hours poring over the diary, deciphering the ancient ritual that could break the curse. We worked tirelessly, fueled by determination and a hint of fear.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the hidden chamber, we finally cracked the code. The ritual required specific ingredients, ancient symbols, and a precise alignment of the celestial bodies.

"We need to act fast," Tyler said, his eyes scanning the diary. "The next full moon is in three days. We have to perform the ritual then."

I nodded, my heart racing with excitement. "Let's get started. We have a lot to do."

We spent the next three days gathering ingredients, rehearsing the ritual, and preparing ourselves for the unknown. I could feel the weight of the curse bearing down on us, but I refused to give up.

On the night of the full moon, we stood before the ancient symbols etched into the walls of the hidden chamber. Tyler held my hand, his eyes locked on mine.

"We do this together," he whispered.

I nodded, and we began the ritual. The air was electric with tension as we spoke the ancient words, our voices echoing off the walls.

The symbols on the walls began to glow, a soft blue light that grew brighter with each passing moment. I could feel the power of the ritual building, a force that threatened to consume us.

Suddenly, the air was filled with a loud, piercing noise. The symbols flashed brightly, and I felt myself being lifted off the ground.

Tyler's hand was ripped from mine, and I was thrown backward, landing hard on the stone floor. As I struggled to sit up, I saw Azazel standing before us, his eyes blazing with fury.

"You fools," he spat. "You think you can break the curse? I will never let that happen."

Tyler stood tall, his eyes flashing with defiance. "We'll never give up," he said. "We'll never surrender."

Azazel sneered, raising his hand. "We'll see about that."

And with that, everything went black.
