I looked around, trying to find any trace of her, but she was gone. It wasn't that deep into the day, the sun was floating above the horizon but she must have left even earlier or just waited when I went to sleep and ran away. I sat up, still trying to figure out what was going on. I checked the bag which was lying beside me, but everything was in place, even the map, although I suspected she would take it. Maybe she just memorized it and decided to go to the village alone. It was probably smart to do and I would have done the same if I was her. Why would she help some idiots in trouble if she was obviously better off on her own? I started to warm up my sore, after sleeping on such an uncomfortable surface, muscles and thinking of what to do next.

How could I help Drake? Where could he be now? I was sure that if I got down from the roof and started to look around, I would be caught. They knew about my undercover outfit and they already perfectly knew how I looked and it wasn't as hard to identify me if what Bellatrix said was true and they could feel my mutant energy.

"Hey, what's up" I heard from behind me and turned around, aiming for the stranger, but it was only Bellatrix, smiling to me.

"Oh, God, I thought you had abandoned me!" I laughed and instantly felt relieved. "Where did you go?"

"Well, here and there, you know? I brought something for you and me!" she put it before me, looking proud.

"Oh..." I lifted up some dark fabric and a few strangely-looking vegetables. "What is it, exactly?"

"C'mon fam, open your eyes. These," she pointed at the vegetables. "these are called pears. It was one of the only things that I was familiar with from here. And the black thingies are for our change."

"Why would we need to change?" I looked at her confused.

"Well, as you know, people here aren't idiots, so I figured we'd change our old outfits for something else." She giggled, showing it to me. It was one of the things that men wore here, dark long gowns with hoods and a pair of crossed necklaces made of wood.

"How did you even get this, Bellatrix?" I was still shocked by how productive this girl was. Did she get it when I was sleeping? I couldn't believe it.

"Well, I simply had to remember some of my old flirting abilities and charm a couple of, let's say, guards to get their attire." She laughed, like she was remembering how it happened, but I was staring at her in disbelief.

"You undressed them? Did you..." I couldn't believe I was asking her this, but she quickly shook her head.

"Well, I am going to keep this trick to myself if you don't mind, but please, don't thank me for my deeds. Shall we enjoy our luxurious breakfast, consistent of those golden pears?" she offered me one and I smiled, accepting it.

As the sun was getting higher, the city was slowly waking up, noises and chattering was filling in the stiff air. Now, that it was sunny, I could see far away into the abandoned city, where all the greens gathered. Couldn't they bring at least one tree to this shithole? After we enjoyed our pears, which reminded me of apples, but tasted sweet instead of sour, and a little bit softer, we decided to change. In the new clothes we looked unrecognizable, so we decided to keep it.

"What now?" I asked Bellatrix.

"We blend in, we wait, we listen." She told me, starting to go down the wall easily.

"Listen for what?" I yelled to her.

"Any information about your golden boy, princess." she responded to me already on the ground. Making little movements, I started to go down myself, but it took me way longer.

"He is not my golden boy," I told her feeling out of breath when my both feet were on the ground. "And you promised to not call me princess again."

She smiled to me naughtily. "He isn't? I felt something between you two sometimes."
