The next morning when we decided to go out after a nice sleep, Bellatrix was feeling better and looked a little better too. She was struggling to move a lot and still needed a lot of treatment time, but at least she was under our protection. Between me and Drake, the tension was gone. He looked at me as he was looking at a friend, but that didn't take away his over-controlling and worried temper. I still didn't know if he was my friend and followed me because he had promised my father something or because he valued our friendship. I was curious but wouldn't dare to ask, for I was afraid to find out the painful truth or catch him lying.

"We missed some days of your training. We have to catch up, Liv," said Drake, giving me a little smile, as we walked through the city. It looked completely deserted and there was no trace of the men in black.

"Weirdly enough, there is no danger around. Where are Darkers, animals, anything? It just seems like such a great place to be their habitat, but I see none here. Suspicious, right?", I asked my friend.

Even though it seemed like this place was peaceful, it still had this tricky feeling in the dull air, like it was all an illusion of safety.

"It's because of the gang." sighed Bellatrix, I was helping her walk by holding her waist.

"Pardon me?", Drake stopped, looking at her face surprised.

"You probably expected to find a load of tosh here, when you came, but I must get you shook, unfortunately. These Black... Black Survivors? Black Explorers? I can't really remember what they're called, but they control everything around here."

"Black Liberators...", said Drake and his face went thoughtful.

"How do you know about them?", I got surprised, and Bellatrix rose up her eyes to see Drake's face too.

"I know that I was very little to remember anything, but I remember some things and one of them is the name, Black Liberators. They were somehow related to my village, I think." he said. It seemed like that name was bringing up some memories in him.

"But who are they? A clan?", I stopped, looking at my friend to Bellatrix and back.

"I'd say so, but they're actually a bunch of freaks believing in some God.", she said, rolling her eyes. "People say they worship Christ, but I think they're after the devil himself." she shrugged her shoulders.

"What? They're religious? How is that possible? Why were they trying to kill you?", I stared at her, wanting my answers as soon as possible.

"Uh-huh. You're getting too close with all those personal questions, but the only thing that I can tell you is that I don't know what it means to be a Christ's child, but I have doubts about it being essentially what they are. Maybe it is. They've got some religious texts, I think, that navigate them." said Bellatrix and then hissed from pain.

Me and Drake this time took her hands and led her down the street together. We didn't know exactly about our destination, where we were heading, what we were looking for in this city, but we were not intended to leave until we know that this woman doesn't need our help anymore. We can't take her with us, that's for sure, but at the same time she won't tell us anything about herself.

"If we keep walking we will reach that area of the city that I'm not familiar with."Said she. "I don't know about you, but if they see us, I'm taking my ass in my hands and fucking away from them."

"I don't think you're able to," I laughed.

"Yeah, it's better not to get too close.", Drake agreed.

"C'mon. We just need to get out of here," I complained. "And it is better to be done as fast as possible."

Drake shook his head, but didn't say anything. Their spirit was the same as mine, so none of them dared to turn back. Go back and we will be even more stuck in the city. Because Bellatrix said that we were getting closer to the area that she didn't know, my paranoia and carefulness were getting stronger, I was checking every shadow and turning my head back to make sure we were not followed. To my surprise, up until we came very close to the ocean coast, it was very quiet and deserted, no people showed up with guns put against our backs. Ocean smell was filling in the air everywhere in downtown, it became more windy and even a little more humid.

"I heard something." She put her hand up, sticking out her finger. Her face turned concerned in a moment. "Crap."

"What is it?" Drake whispered.

Bellatrix told us to go inside one of the buildings, that didn't look safe at all. It was crooked and full of fractures, but we managed to find our way in. Half of its floor was missing, which wasn't surprising, because this structure was so old. Once we got in, Bellatrix told us to try to get to the upper floors somehow. She said if they come in, they probably won't have the brain to check them. With her injured on our backs, it was hard to do, it's not like there were ladders all around. We came up with an idea of how to get her up, whenever we had to jump to get higher, I was helping Bellatrix and pushing her and Drake was pulling her from above. In general we were all worried if the building was stable enough, so whenever we heard a crack under our feet, we were worried that we might fall down.

"Here, this is a good stop," Bellatrix stopped and came up to the window. She sat down and peeked her head through the window frame. "What the..." Her eyes turned wide and her face paled.

We did the same as she, and when I looked out, I gasped. A lot of those men dressed in Black were walking around with weapons, protecting something that looked like an entrance to their base, that used houses around for support. That same vehicle that we saw before was parked right beside the gate.

"How did we get so close?" Drake asked worryingly.

"Is it them? Liberators?", I asked.

Bellatrix nodded, remaining silent, as well as my friend. They all stared at the entrance and the men guarding it.

"Why are there so many of them?", I asked. "Why do they all have weapons?"

"I'm assuming it's dangerous here. And they don't want anyone inside." said Drake, whispering.

We had to get our of here, as soon as possible. Nothing mattered except for the fact that there are as many of them as cockroaches in a village, so it was impossible to fight them, or at least try. I started to back down, away from the window. It was a horrible idea to come here.

Someone stopped me and grabbed me by the throat, I screamed, wasting my last gasp of air, before I begun suffocating. My friends turned around, and grabbed their weapons, even Bellatrix did, forgetting about her injury. In the meantime, my vision started to become blurry.

"You're all going with me", said the voice behind my ear and stroked my cheek with their free hand.
