Yao Ziqing slept until after ten at night, feeling fully rested and rejuvenated, as if he had come back to life. He noticed that Second Brother wasn't in the room, and when he called out a few times with no response, he was surprised that Second Brother had left him alone in the room.

Feeling sticky despite having showered before bed and with the air conditioning running all night, Yao Ziqing was puzzled. He went to the bathroom to run another bath. By nearly eleven o'clock, with his hair dried and still no sign of Second Brother, he was about to call him when he heard some noise at the door.

Yao Ziqing quickly went to the door and flung it open. "Second Brother! Where did you go? I woke up and didn't see you."

Lei Xiao quickly pushed him back inside. Si'er was only wearing a T-shirt and short shorts, which barely covered his thighs, revealing his long, fair legs. It was quite provocative. While it was fine at home, it was not appropriate to be seen like this by others.

Before Yao Ziqing could react, he was pushed inside, and then he heard a stranger's voice outside the door.

"So this is your younger brother, so cute. Since it's such a rare chance to meet in a foreign country and your brother is here too, shouldn't we introduce ourselves?"

"Not convenient. Maybe next time."

Lei Xiao refused directly without showing any sign of embarrassment or concern for the other person's feelings.

Du Heng smiled nonchalantly, his charming phoenix eyes curving up slightly with a touch of gentle indulgence, as if he understood the situation perfectly and was resigned to it.

"Alright, since you probably don't want to rush back, let's have dinner together tomorrow. Since we've met, we should properly get to know your brother."

Lei Xiao nodded, seeing that Si'er seemed to be in good spirits and agreed to Du Heng's suggestion.

It took a while for Lei Xiao to come in. Yao Ziqing had considered changing clothes before meeting Second Brother's friend but abandoned the idea after hearing they had arranged to meet for dinner the next day.

Seeing Lei Xiao enter with a food box smelling of delicious food, Yao Ziqing knew it was something for him and obediently sat at the dining table, eagerly watching Lei Xiao. Lei Xiao placed the fish porridge prepared by the hotel kitchen in front of Si'er, glancing at his still-exposed, fair legs. After a moment's pause, he nonchalantly looked away.

"Be careful when you're out. Don't wear clothes like this."

The porridge was at the perfect temperature. After feeling fully rested, Yao Ziqing's hunger naturally kicked in. As he ate heartily, he glanced at his outfit with a hint of innocence and said, "How was I supposed to know you'd run into acquaintances here? It's not like I'm not wearing anything; they're all men, what's the big deal?"

Lei Xiao stood quietly beside him, his deep eyes watching him calmly, which made Yao Ziqing feel a bit uneasy. He quickly lowered his head and focused on eating, not daring to argue further. When Lei Xiao went to get clothes for a shower, Yao Ziqing stole glances until Lei Xiao entered the bathroom and the sound of the shower started. He finally relaxed. Lei Xiao's calm gaze had been quite intimidating, as if he could devour him whole if he argued any further!

After eating, Yao Ziqing lay on the bed, playing with his tablet, looking quite relaxed. Lei Xiao, seeing his easygoing demeanor, thought he looked far from the person who seemed about to collapse in discomfort earlier in the afternoon.

"Feeling better?"

Yao Ziqing quickly shook his head and smiled ingratiatingly, "Second Brother, was that person your friend? Did you know each other beforehand, or was it a coincidence?"
