Lei Xiao, exuding a cold, imposing presence, walked through the large campus with an expressionless face. The maze-like layout of the teaching buildings made it easy for unfamiliar visitors to get lost, but Lei Xiao navigated the campus as if he was completely familiar with it.

Students of all genders couldn't help but steal glances at this tall, handsome man. Even his back was enough to make people look twice. They had no idea the school had such a stunning new addition, and some girls, enamored by high aesthetics, took out their phones to snap a few pictures to show off later. Lei Xiao ignored everyone and walked purposefully toward the male dormitory.

Yao Ziqing thought that if his second brother was coming from the military, he wouldn't arrive until noon or later. He sent a text around ten in the morning to ask for a rough arrival time but only got a two-word reply: "Wait." Yao Ziqing lay back on his bed, wondering if "wait" meant waiting for him to join for lunch or waiting for a time confirmation before responding.

When the door knocked, Wu Wenqing, closest to the door, got up to answer it. Seeing the imposing man standing there, Wu Wenqing instinctively stepped back and politely asked, "May I help you?"

Lei Xiao, taller than Wu Wenqing by half a head, saw Yao Ziqing inside the dorm room without any obstruction.

Yao Ziqing, bored and lying on his bed, glanced up and immediately recognized his brother, shouting excitedly, "Second Brother!"

Lei Xiao nodded at Wu Wenqing and stepped into the dorm. Yao Ziqing quickly got up from the bed, and Lei Xiao walked over to his bedside. Yao Ziqing threw himself into Lei Xiao's embrace, happily hugging his neck. "Second Brother, why are you here so early? I thought you wouldn't arrive until noon!"

Cheng Tao, looking at the tall and handsome man, felt a chill from his cold, blade-like demeanor. The second brother Yao Ziqing described as smiling and trustful was surprisingly different from Cheng Tao's expectations. He had thought that Yao Ziqing's beloved brother would be a refined and elegant person, but instead, he was a cold, intimidating man.

Su Li almost blurted out in surprise at the appearance of such a stunningly handsome man. If not for the constant aura of "I'm not to be trifled with," he might have approached to introduce himself like Yao Ziqing.

In the presence of his most beloved Si'er, Lei Xiao softened. He looked at Si'er, who had grown a bit rounder over the months, with a hint of satisfaction. Still, he needed to gain more weight. "Where's your luggage? Ready to go?" Yao Ziqing suddenly remembered they were in a dorm and quickly introduced his three roommates. "This is my second brother, Lei Xiao," and then introduced each roommate to Lei Xiao.

Lei Xiao gave a friendly nod to each of them. However, his expressionless demeanor made him appear quite cold and imposing to the three, making their smiles awkward. Lei Xiao's gaze lingered on Cheng Tao for a moment. Although others, including Cheng Tao himself, didn't notice, Yao Ziqing did.

Lei Xiao ruffled Yao Ziqing's hair, noting it felt softer and smoother than before. He wished Si'er's personality could be as soft as his hair.

"Second Brother, are we leaving now?"

Lei Xiao responded with a brief "Hmm," and Yao Ziqing, not wasting any time, put on his shoes and dragged out the pre-packed suitcase. He put on his coat and said, "We're ready to go."

Lei Xiao helped button up Yao Ziqing's coat and wrapped a thick scarf around him. After a polite farewell to the three roommates, they left with the suitcase. Yao Ziqing waved goodbye with a smile, "I'm leaving now. See you next semester."

After they left, Su Li quickly ran to the window to watch them. Seeing the tall man in black with the suitcase and Yao Ziqing chatting happily beside him, Su Li sighed, "Qingzi's brother is so handsome, like a real-life military elite. And he's so attentive and caring toward Qingzi. Did you see how seriously he buttoned up Qingzi's coat? It's like a dream."
