"You're neighbors?" Reign asked the moment I opened the door, and he wasn't smiling. Para bang isang malaking kasalanan ang hindi ko pagsasabi sa kanya ng impormasyon na 'yon.
"She lives here, long before I moved in." sagot ko. Really, I didn't have to ask kung sino ang tinutukoy nila.
"You're neighbors." Keenan emphasized, as if I had been intentionally keeping this a secret.
"Let's see, you first thought she ignored you sa McDo, so you shared her umbrella, stole her ID, helped her reach her favorite comic book... Did you follow her here, too?" Morgan asked, hindi pa sila nakakapasok sa loob, but they were bombarding me with absurd assumptions already.
Bakit ba pinapunta ko 'tong mga 'to dito? I sighed and rolled my eyes. "What kind of alternative universe are you on? I didn't steal her ID and most certainly did not follow her here."
"Long story short, you both live here now. Sana all pinagtatagpo." Misha commented after removing his cap, mask and sunglasses. His way of 'disguising'.
Now that I think about it, "How'd you guys even know she's here?"
"Nakasalubong namin, kalalabas nila sa kabila." Reign flashed a satisfied grin.
Keenan was doing the same. "It was perfect timing."
They settled down on the couch once they removed their bags and shoes. But I had a feeling na hindi pa sila tapos sa mga tanong at delusyon nila, lalo na tungkol kay Addy.
The doorbell rang again, at pagbukas ko–
"Addyson visited you?" Not even a hi or hello. Ace was not one to beat around the bush. He was with Light and Healer, na naghihintay din sa isasagot ko.
There was only one conclusion, nakasalubong din nila si Addy.
"Addy is a neighbor." Reign answered, wriggling his pierced eyebrow. He said 'Addy', na parang close din silang dalawa.
"This is exactly why I didn't tell you guys. Don't make a fuss and scare her off now." I warned them. These guys could be way too curious sometimes. Binuhat ko na lang papunta sa kitchen ang mga dala nilang beer. "Kalmahan n'yo lang. Baka mareklamo agad ako."
Sumunod sa'kin si Misha para tulungan ako, 'yong mga natira sa sala, inayos naman ang kakainan namin.
"Kapag kasi nomi, nomi lang. Walang iyakan, 'di ba Jules?" dinig ko pang habol ni Morgan.
I yelled back, "Namo Morgs, past it past!"
"Namo raw, pre!"
"Kala ko ba 'di ka nagsasabi ng masasamang words, Mish?"
"Gago pre, nagbago ka na rin ba?"
Napabuntong hininga na lang ako. Sa ingay ng mga 'to, siguradong dinig kami hanggang labas.
Buti na lang lumabas sila Addy. I checked the clock. I hope they won't stay out too late, though.
