- ADDYSON LOPEZ -

It had been a week since the finals were over, we could finally relax! So far, wala din naman akong problema sa mga subjects, I did well in my exams, too!

Bakasyon is real!

"Skirt or dress?"

"Skirt!"

"Dress."

"Addy looks good with skirt!"

"She'd look better with a dress."

"Try them both, then we'll decide." Hana gave me both the skirt and the dress, bago pa muling magtalo si Eunice at Blaire.

At dahil nga wala na kaming school works na kailangang intindihin, full force na sumugod ang mga kaibigan ko sa condo ni Hana. We were supposed to meet at the café originally, but they decided last minute to meet here instead to help me prepare for war, as Hana said.

Para akong model na papalit-palit nang damit na rumarampa sa harap nila. It went on for hours, and when I thought they'd never finish—

"Now that is perfect." Marina pointed a finger at me, giving me a once over.

All of them nodded their heads at once.

I withdrew a breath. Nagkasundo rin sila sa wakas!

Eunice proceeded to my makeup just then, a light one. Her skilled hands covered my blemishes with a concealer, enhanced my eyebrows, then my lashes with a mascara, made my cheeks pink with a blush on, as well as my lips with a lipstick. While Hana was curling my hair in big beach waves, she tucked it to the side with my Keroppi clip as promised.

"Now give us a twirl." Blaire prompted, a faint smile on her red mouth, as she gestured the action with her fingers.

I stood up from the vanity chair they made me sit onto, and dramatically pirouetted.

"Addy, you look fantastic." Marina praised in awe, I beamed at her.

Indeed. A prettier version of myself stared back at me in the mirror, but she was still me. She was me.

Eunice squeaked, "I had to hold back to get you a wig and contacts! Addy, can I dress you next time? Please? You'd make a perfect cosplayer!"

"Of course. Thank you girls." I croaked, hoping my outmost sincerity reached them.

"If you dare tear up, you're dead." Blaire warned, pointing a red painted nail on me. Pinanlakihan pa ako ng mata.

"I won't, don't worry." I almost did though, I was very touched. I loved these girls so much.

Inakbayan ako ni Hana, "Ready?"

Lumunok ako bago tumango. "Ready."

"Time for war then."

Café Prince, owned by Kuya Sana, was where the war Hana kept talking about would take place. Thirty minutes lang ang layo nito sa condo by car, depende sa traffic. Nakisakay kaming lahat sa sasakyan ni Blaire, since her car was big and she had a driver.

The café was surrounded by both public and private schools, according to Hana, high school students ang regulars nila. It was exactly 3 o clock, at dahil magbabakasyon, kami lang ang tao sa café.
