It's barely been a day. I haven't even done any real fighting yet, and yet my body already wants to collapse. And my mind is not doing much better.

I'm scared of what will happen, because I know what had happened. That being that last time I sustained an injury that I'll be dealing with until the day I die, and a few more things went wrong with my head.

I don't know what will happen. All I know is nothing will ever be the same.

Thomas was on a metal platform leading up to a radio tower on top of the movie studios. He was sitting on the railing, looking out at Gotham. His foot was tapping on the cross bar, and he looked nervous.

The information Talia gave them, it was detremental.

Talia was standing in her cell now, talking to Nightwing.

"Alpha-Omega? I don't understand," he asked.

"It's a bio weapon. The weaponization of the Alice Tetch virus gave my father the idea to use a bio-weapon of his own."

She kept standing, "he's spent the last year recovering and reproducing a toxin called 'Alpha-Omega,' it was discovered in Hong Kong years ago."

"I've never heard of it."

"It was covered up by the Chinese government. The virus will kill within an hour of contact. Most last a few minutes. There's only one cure, and it comes from innoculation."

Thomas looked at her, "So where's the cure? Surely Ra's has given it to you."

"As I've stated, he'd gladly kill me. He would not spare time on a cure. Not even for himself. If he succeeds in deploying the agent, all of Gotham will be dead in mere hours."

Across the city, an armored man was walking through a dark alley. He wore black and orange armor. His helmet was split down the middle, with only one white eye on his orange left side. Deathstroke.

He suddenly stopped, feeling the precense of the man behind him. But there was nothing, just steam coming from a vent. No, the man was behind him, the way he was originally walking.

Deathstroke turned, seeing none other than the Demon's Head across from him.

"Ra's Al Ghul, to what do I owe this very surprising visit? I'm on my way to a meeting."

"You want control over this city? You want an army at your beck and call? I can give you those things."

Slade scoffed behind his helmet, "I know all about your League of Assassins. We didn't work out. Your grandson was chosen over me."

"My grandson is a traitor. Nightwing knew we were coming, he evacuated half the city and ambushed us at all our attack points, and I'll bet you Damian told him. I will fulfill my prophecy and then I will commit myself to Seppuku. And you will be my heir. You will carry out my plans. After all, you are the only one who can survive my attack."

Deathstroke's head tilted slightly, "Alpha-Omega? You wouldn't dare, would you? There's still things left to take from Gotham."

"Yes, but I'm tired of suffering. I've made more people suffer than years I've lived."

Ra's studied the back of hand, even with the Lazarus Water, age was catching up to him.

"And I have lived... centuries. It's time I accomplish my goals. And then I'll depart this world. Death to the son of Gotham. And then the Demon's Head will be cut off."

Slade paused, the sincerity in the old man's voice was... disturbing. He set his jaw, "so what do you want me to do?"

"Grow back stronger."
