Starlight, Vermont
Jocelyn was doing some apple picking. The crisp, September morning added an extra layer of chill to the air, under a clear, blue sky. Temperatures were in the mid to upper 60s. Jocelyn was wearing a white hoodie, dark blue jeans, and white Reebok sneakers.
Once she got enough apples, Jocelyn went home to bake an apple pie. The crisp, cool air seeped into to her house. Tonight would be chilly, with lows in the 40s, and widespread frost was anticipated.
A preview of Fall was in the air.
