Ling's pov

The trip was a blast. We laughed, shared stories, and spent quality time together as friends, which made me genuinely happy. But what made it even more special was that Orm was there with me. Even though she only saw me as a friend, I was content with our one-sided connection for the time being.

I was in my room, organizing some of the photos we had taken during the trip when the door swung open. Bright stood there with a playful smirk, and Orm appeared behind him, her face lighting up with a bright smile.

"You're stealing my girlfriend from me," Bright teased, but he stepped aside to let Orm through.

"Move, I want to see my friend," I said, and he obliged, giving us space. Orm wasted no time rushing to me.

"I missed you!!" she exclaimed, enveloping me in a warm hug.

"Me too!!" I replied, hugging her back tightly.

"You two saw each other yesterday," Bright remarked, raising an eyebrow.

"And?" I replied, slightly defensively.

"We can miss each other," Orm added with a grin.

"I'm starting to believe you miss her more than you miss me," Bright said, sounding amused.

"She does. She loves me more," I said, laughing as I grabbed Orm's hand and led her towards my bedroom.

"It's true," Orm agreed, looking back at Bright with a teasing smile.

"I know. He's the only one who thinks you love him more than me," I said, rolling my eyes.

Orm turned her attention back to me. "What were you doing?"

"Just looking through the photos we took."

"Wow, this one is pretty," Orm said, pointing to one of the photos.

"You took it of me," I said with a smile.

"I know, that's why it's pretty," she replied, her eyes sparkling.

"I prefer this one," I said, showing her my favorite shot.

"It's a silly photo of me," Orm commented, her cheeks flushing slightly.

"I know, but for some reason, it always makes me smile," I said, shrugging.

"Falling for me, Kwong?" she asked, her tone playful.

"Here's a photo of you falling," I said, trying to deflect her question with a joke.

"No, no," she said, playfully taking the photo from my hands. "Answer me."

"Ugh, maybe," I admitted, my cheeks warming.

"Cute," she said, leaning in to plant a soft kiss on my cheek.

"Are you going to sleep here tonight?" I asked, my voice tinged with hope.

"Maybe. Can I?" Orm asked, her eyes wide with anticipation.

"No, Orm, I'm going to throw you out onto the streets and yell at you to sleep outside," I said sarcastically, playfully pushing her towards my bed.

"You can shower first, then I'll shower, and just lay down on you," she said with a grin.

"You're really using me as a bed," I said, laughing.

"It's not my fault. You're super comfortable," Orm replied, settling onto the bed.

"Fine, I'll take a shower," I said, heading to the bathroom.

I took my shower as usual, but when I came out, Orm was no longer in my room. A pang of worry hit me, imagining she might have gone to Bright's room. My thoughts were interrupted when the door opened again, revealing Orm with a cup of water. She must have gone to get water.
