Maya Aseal
Words got caught in my throat.
His body stood over me, making my small body shake in fear, dropping all the files in my arms to the floor.
"P-Please let me go.." I begged, finally speaking up.
"Not until I say so, Mia Bella." I felt his hand move to my body. His rough hands traced my hips, waist, and thighs, trying to remember what my body felt like in his hands.
"You have a beautiful body," He said low and commandingly in my ear, almost as a whisper.
I closed my eyes in fear, feeling my heart rate pick up. I was only here for answers and to know who I was taking care of. Not to get pinned on the door and played with. I tried to catch my breath, but I couldn't. My mind was racing with many questions to see if I would live.
"Open your eyes." I shook my head. It felt like the walls were closing in on me.
"Mia Bella, I won't hurt you." He whispered in my ear. "Just open your eyes."
I was going to open my eyes, but the door started to rumble from banging on the other side.
"Maya!!" Solana yelled from the other side. The knob jiggled and turned, trying to open the door, but there was no use between his and mine body weight. "Maya!!"
I wanted to speak up, but the words I wanted to say wouldn't come out.
"Maya!! Tell me if you're okay!!" Solana yelled again, still playing with the door knob and waiting for guards to open the door.
"Go ahead, Maya. Open your pretty little mouth." He taunts.
"I-I.." I gulped opening my eyes.
"Go on, speak." His lips hovered as his eyes locked onto my eyes.
I finally spoke, taking in a shaky breath. "I-I'm fine, Solana!!"
"I don't believe you!!" The door banged harder.
"Now, here is what I want you to do before I let you go," He growled. "I want you to tell me your age, birth date, and full name. Got it?" I nodded.
"M-My name is Maya Elizabeth Aseal, my age is twenty-six, and my birthday is March second, nineteen–ninety-eight." I spilled.
He smiled in satisfaction, letting go of my face and body. I moved from the door and gasped for air. The door burst open with a panicked Solana and guards.
"Maya!" Solana comes in first, taking me in her arms. "I'm so sorry."
Solana dragged me out of the room the moment a few of the guards started to handcuff me back to his room. Solana rambled about how she felt for me, but I was too busy listening to Killian screams.
"I'm sorry!" Solana finally finished.
"No.." I whispered.
"No? What do you mean no?" I let go of Solana's hand.
I shake my head. "No, I want somebody else!"
"What? Why? You were the one who took up this challenge!"
"I didn't know it would be this bad!" Solana shook her head.
"Maya, why do you think nobody took him? Everyone is scared of him and what he can do!" She fought.
"Well, somebody should've warned me!" I fought back.
"No, you should've known!" Solana was right. I should've asked around, but I didn't. "You know the rule, Maya."
"Yeah, yeah, I know. Once you stick to a job, you must never back down." I spoke bluntly.
"See, just don't back out from one mistake." I sighed. "I promise you, Maya. It won't happen again."
"You promise?" She nods.
"Fine. I guess I'm Killian's nurse." She smiled and hugged me.

It was now late at night, and everyone was ready to go home. Many waved bye to their patients.
I was ready to go home, but I was stopped by Race—one of the night nurses who keeps watch. I forward my eyebrows together in confusion as he tries to catch his breath.
"M-Maya, before you go. I need you to give Killian his medicine for him to sleep." He mannered, finally catching his breath."Can't you do it?" He shook his head.
"He wants it from you." I sighed.
"Show me the way." He nodded and showed me the way.
I followed him to a room with a metal door with many locks. He nodded to one of the guards to open the door and looked back at me, handing me a cup with a pill.
"All he has to do is take it, okay." I nod and take it.
Once one of the guards unlocked the last lock my nerves spiked. I rubbed my sweaty hands down my dress, took a deep breath, and walked in. I saw him lying down, one arm covering his face while his other arm hung from the side of his bed.
"Killian," I whispered, watching his body freeze from my voice. "I-I have your night pill."
I saw him remove his arm from his eyes and sat up with a smug smirk. "Well don't just stand there. Bring it over here, I won't bite."
I walked over to him and held out his cup. I felt him slowly reach for it, his fingers slightly touching my fingers purposely.
"Thank you, Mia Bella." He mumbles, taking down the medicine.
"Y-You're welcome." I nodded, taking a step back from him.
It was silent for a while between us before he decided to stand up. My body froze when he moved closer to me and touched my cheek. The cold feeling of his hand sent a shiver down my spine.
"Maya, Mia Bella.." He says, his eyes admiring my face.
His thumb caressed my cheek before the feeling of his hand left my face. "Good night, Maya."
"Good night, Killian," I whispered.
