Blade watched from her spot, arrows aimed at the leader and the spies as the three kept approaching.
Sab signaled to the team, his voice barely a whisper. "On my mark. We take them down fast and quiet."
Simon's fingers flexed, ready to draw his weapon. "Copy that. Non-lethal if possible. We need answers."
Garen's imposing figure tensed, his blue eyes locked on the targets. "Understood. Ready when you are."
Blade kept her arrows trained on the leader and spies from her vantage point, the rest of the team prepared to strike. They knew that their next actions could unravel the entire conspiracy and bring justice for Blade's brother.
"I'm watching..." she murmured on her comms, her gaze not leaving the target even a blink
Sab nodded imperceptibly, his voice low and firm. "Understood, lass. We're moving in."
With a swift signal hand, Sab initiated the assault, and the team sprang into action with synchronized precision. Each member had their target. Simon moving like a shadow executed a silent takedown that was almost invisible to the untrained eye. Garen, using his sheer strength, over powered his opponent with ease, his imposing figurecasting an inescaple shadow over his target.
The leader, realizing the ambush, scrambled to reach for a weapon but before he could even grasp, the sharp whistle of an arrow cut through the tension. The barbed blade of the arrow pierce through his wrist, tearing every layer of its flesh and struck to the nearby wall behind him. Blade's shot was flawless and undeniably precise; freezing the leader in place without causing lethal harm. Her calm gaze never leaving her mark.
The leader's eyes widened in shock as the team closed in, realizing too late that resistance was futile.
As the dust settled, the team secured the area, their eyes alert for any additional threats. The atmosphere crackled with tension and the promise of long awaited answers.
Blade set another arrow aiming the targets and enemies again. She stayed alert on her spot while she watched the three immobilizing and restricting the leader and its companions.
Blade maintained her vigilant watch from above, the team below worked swiftly to secure the leader and suspected spies. Sab moved with practiced efficiency, his hands deftly binding the leader. Simon's masked face betrayed no emotion as he systematically disarmed and restrained the other suspects. Garen's large figure loomed over the captives, his presence alone enough to discourage any thoughts of resistance.
With the immediate threat contained, the team knew that the next phase of their mission, extracting crucial information about the hunting game and uncovering the identity of the participants behind this cruel activities.
"We should take care of the other information and data about their plans..." she murmured and clearly to her comms.
Sab nodded in agreement, his voice low and determined. "Good thinking, lass. Simon, see what you can salvage from their systems."
Simon moved swiftly to the nearest computer terminal, his fingers flying over the keyboard. "On it. I'll extract everything I can and wipe their drives."
Garen remained vigilant, his blue eyes scanning for any potential threats that might come on their location. "I will ensure our prisoners do not interfere." He ensured.
As Simon worked to secure the vital information, Sab and Garen kept a watchful eye on their captives nit giving them a chance to even make a secret eye contacts. Garen's burly figure was enough for their captives to engrave terror in their mind and crush their confidence.
"Tell me when you're done. I'll go first to clean the outside..."
Sab's voice came through the comms, his tone cautious but approving. "Alright, lass. But be careful out there. We don't know if there are more hostiles."
Simon's fingers continued to dance across the keyboard, his masked face tilted slightly towards the comms. "I'll need a few more minutes to finish the data extraction and wipe. Stay alert."
Blade murmurs an agreement in the comms.
Garen's frame shifted slightly, his blue eyes scanning the area like a stealthy predator. "I can accompany you if needed. Extra eyes could be beneficial."
"No need I'll handle it. Help them there, okay?" She said enthusiastically in the comms before she sneaked out of her spot, scouting the extraction point meticulously.
Blade moved with purpose, her body tense but controlled as she prepared to scout the exterior. The weight of their recent discoveries bore down on her shoulders, and the knowledge that unseen threats might still be waiting in the shadows heightened her awareness.
The night air was cool, but the tension was palpable. Every step she took was calculated, her senses sharp, ready to detect any movement, any sign of danger lurking in the darkness. The wind whispered through the trees, but even that couldn't mask the unsettling quiet that enveloped the area.
The team was counting on her to ensure their safe passage forward, and she wouldn't let them down.
She cant explain why she trusted so much to use her bows and arrows. But the situation is getting crucial that she needed to use her M110 SASS. She also brought it to use for a wider range and versatility.
Garen tensed slightly at Blade's decision, but he respected her choice. "Understood. Be vigilant out there."
Inside, Simon continued his work on the computer systems, his masked face focused intently on the screen. Sab kept a watchful eye on the prisoners, his posture alert and ready for any sudden movements.
