As well as being educated in mechanics and having multiple PHD.'s in his name, Engineer is also extremely educated on some of the most random subjects. Someone can ask a general question about something mundane, and you'll probably find Engineer has an answer for it.
Engineer can cook, but he's not the best of the team. He's only deemed as the best cook simply because he cooks the most out of all of them. He's not very fond of it actually. He'd rather someone else take over and cook for once.
He deems teleportation his greatest invention ever, but he believes that he can do ten times better by creating something out of this world. Perhaps literally. Maybe he could send people to space at the press of a button. Or maybe just make a machine that produces perfectly cooked bacon at any time.
Engineer's dad taught him how to play guitar. As a little boy, he always loved listening to and watching his father play an acoustic guitar and desperately wanted to learn. He picked up the talent quickly, and his father was so proud of him. His father bought him his first guitar to which he still has as a keepsake.
Engineer was one of the first members to join the team, right after Heavy, in fact. His friendly nature made the other members feel so welcomed onto the team, and naturally, he became everyone's friend. He finds that he can get along with anyone, even Spy. And they've all said what a great friend Engineer is at some point.
