I look at the boy peacefully sleeping in my arms and a smile creeps on my lips. His hair is messed up as his face is pressed in my chest and his soft exhales fall on my skin.

Yesterday was amazing. Everything about it was amazing.

Except for one thing. I couldn't say it.

Having him in my arms, looking at me with so much love under the golden sunset was a perfect moment to express my love but every time I opened my mouth, my throat tightened making it impossible for me to let the words out.

The anxiousness, the nervousness and the fear of getting rejected locked my lips.

I didn't want to lose him, lose him at a moment when everything was perfect.

I sigh, wrapping my arms around him which only makes him snuggle into my body more.

"I love you. I love you Mateo Delacruz." I whisper, my eyes scanning his pretty face with so much love.

I was such a coward for this, whispering love to a sleeping boy.

"Morning." I mutter when I walk out of the shower, not expecting him to be up already. He lays on the bed, wrapped up in comforter before he rubs his eyes and sits on the bed. "Morning. Why didn't you wake me up?" He questions, yawning.

"You looked like you were having a good sleep." I smile, walking towards him. "I was." He mutters, making my smile grow wider.

"Were you dreaming about me?" I tease him, knowing that it's not truth but teasing him has become a hobby of mine. "Yes." He says making my heart skip a beat. I look at him, shock and amusement rising in me. "Really?"

"Yes, you were helping Leo with something." A playful smile rests on his face as he says that making my smile drop. "Seriously?" I roll my eyes, walking towards the door and prepare breakfast for us. "What a great dream you had." I sarcastically say, the corner of my lips going up in disgust.

"Hey, it was good to see you having fun with someone you used to be friends with!" He yells over the door, a light laughter following his words.

I shake my head as I walk out the door, a smile dancing on my face.

This guy, seriously.

The maids had already prepared the table when I walked out of the room, a lot of things scattered on the surface.
"Thank you." I say as I walk in the kitchen. They look at each other before looking at me. "You're..you're welcome, sir." They stutter making me frown but I shrug it off.

When I walk out, I see Mateo walking out . "Aren't we late for the office?" He questions, tucking his grey shirt in his pants. I eye him as he does that before making my way to the table. "It's fine. I didn't have any meeting in the morning so we'll be fine." I grab a piece of grapes before plopping it in my mouth.

I do have two meeting in the afternoon and it bothers me that I'll have to leave Mateo alone. It scares me.

"You do remember that eight days are left." He reminds me and I nod silently. Eight days until he works for me, as my personal assistant. After that, he will go back to his house and the thought leaves an empty space in my heart.

Keeping him infront of me was my intention for offering him this job but now, keeping here is my only motive.

The drive to the work was silent as we both were too tired because of yesterday. Driving for hours was not an easy task but I didn't even feel a single ounce of tiredness when I was driving yesterday.
I was so excited to even care about it.
