Things have been going unbelievably well between me and Enzo as we share kisses between our daily life, like it's a normal routine. We sometimes bicker like a newlywed couple which makes my day better when I see his flustered face and the defeat in his eyes.

Though there is something bothering me for a week now and as much as I want to figure it out quickly, I'm getting more strangled in my own thoughts.

"I have a meeting in the afternoon regarding the new launching of a product in the upcoming spring." Enzo informs me before getting up from his chair and my eyes follow him as he goes to the terrace for the tenth time in the day. It's only afternoon and we have more two hours to work and this guy has been smoking one after one. Though, I am grateful that he doesn't have the habit to smoke inside or it must've been really hard for me. I do find him extremely attractive when he smokes but I'm not a great fan of the disgusting smell it has. I can't really say that to Enzo because I don't want to be too much and throw tantrums over random and small things.

I nod, not really giving attention to his words as his information had nothing to do with me. I find it really odd that he is going to a certain length to give me every single detail of his whereabouts, not only it being about work but he would also tell me if he has to go somewhere out after office, telling me that it's work related.

I groan when my phone rings and a message from an unknown number displays on the screen.
I read the texts and shake my head as the annoyance bites on me.

'I don't think you're taking me seriously. Blocking me won't stop me from reaching you, little boy.' I cringe at the last word, goosebumps forming all over my skin. I sigh before placing the phone and dropping my head in my hands.

I have no idea who this person is but I keep on receiving weird texts from unknown number and no matter how many times I ignore it, it comes back with a new number. However, that is not my main concern right now as my eyes study Enzo who stands at the terrace, blowing off his smoke in the thin air.

My mind is fumbled as I try to connect the dots as to why Enzo is too persistent on giving me his every little detail of his working schedule out of nowhere. I mean I know it makes totally sense when we think that I'm his personal assistant and I should know about he is every second to assist him but if that was the case, why now? Why not from the start?

I do wonder if by any chance he has read the texts my father has sent but the thought is quickly shaken off when I remember the times Enzo has expressed his anger without listening my side. This matter was no different, even, perhaps worse.

If he ever gets to know what my father's intentions are, he will not waste a second to misjudge and think that I'm actually a part of my father's plan. He will think that I have agreed to work under him to accomplish something against him.

Enzo walks back in and a smile falls on my lips when my eyes meet his, every worry washing away as soon as he smiles back at me. My heat flatters just by looking at him and I can only imagine the pain when we'll go our different ways. "Is something wrong, Cassino ragazza?'' He wishers, worry flashing in his caramel eyes. "No." I smile, trying my best to cover my thoughts.

"Actually," I start before pausing and thinking for a moment. "I think I'll drop by my house tonight and maybe spend a night there." I suggest, an uncertain expression flowing across my face. "Sure." He mutters, sitting back in his chair and resting his leg over the other. I gulp slightly when I notice the dominating aura radiating off him. A pang of proudness hugs my heart and I find myself admiring him, my eyes scanning every part of his body as if I am seeing him for the first time.
