Chapter 36

“Where is he?!” Fox snarled, as he slammed his hand into the table making many of them jump. 

“We’ll find him, just breathe, please” Shaak Ti spoke in a soft tone as she tried to coax the king to sit down, as it had been a long three days. Yep so much time had passed since one his son had almost died and two his son had been kidnapped, Crosshair had vanished and all of the kingdom, allies and everyone else was looking for him. 

“I know, it’s just…” Fox glanced off to the side ignoring the batch and the children who were cuddled close as he thought about his son, someone who he had just gotten back. Thorn wore a worried expression beside his best-friend who took another deep breath to keep his emotions back. 

“Are we any further in the south or west regions?” Thorn’s commanding tone had the entire room's attention, as all focus became the conversation unaware of a camera which watched them while behind the screen was a smirking older individual, who couldn’t wait to see them all fall apart, which would happen in a few moments. 

Meanwhile…

The first thing he felt was an obnoxious amount of pain as he found himself electrocuted awake, a scream tore its way out of his vocal cords as he heard faint voices around him. 

“My Emperor, it would seem the prince is awake” 

A hand gripped his chin shaking his head violently until his unique purple eyes opened, which mostly showed when he had water in them or something else. Technically the chocolate brown was from contact lenses he constantly wore. Purple ran in his royal blood as Fox had the same genetic eye colour.

“Ah my nephew, it is nice to see you again. Don’t you think so?” Crosshair could only blink to see none other than Palpatine kneeling down beside him, his father’s brother. 

“What do you want with me?” Crosshair questioned, only for a cane to slam into his hands, he gritted his teeth to prevent himself from screaming in pain as he was electrocuted again.

“Do not speak unless I allow you” Palpatine snarled only for Crosshair to wince at him. “Now, what I want is something special and only you can give it to me. But first, let’s say hello to your father first” Palpatine smirked as he turned Crosshairs chair to face a clear red light which belonged to a camera, while a small screen showed direct feed straight of the command room which belonged to his father. 

Back to the Command room…

There was no way to describe how King Fox was feeling as he ordered everyone around, the desperate search for his son. His worry was through the roof as he glanced around at everyone, allies had come out of nowhere to aid in the search. But he wasn’t the only worried father since Mayday was beside him, the former elite commander was being comforted by his own children and surprisingly another man called Howzer who was actually the father to the twins. Mayday had the ability to have children. 

“We will find him Fox, you have my word” 

“...” 

Thorn could only sigh walking off to order troops when something caught his eye or more importantly Cole appeared holding something. A camera which had been on the wall. 

“My King, we have an incoming call” the voice of Thorn had Fox glaring and clearing his throat. 

“Put it through” Fox gestured to the screen in the command room which Thorn accepted the video call only for a silent gasp to fill the entire room as on the screen strapped to a chair with his head hung slightly was Crosshair, the prince who looked to be in so much pain. 

“Who are you?!” Fox demanded as Crosshairs head was forced to look straight at the camera just as a much older wrinkler man appeared in front of the camera lens.
