The Brains - A Jello Shot Recipe

Zombie Brain Jello Mold

Disclaimer: Before you attempt to make this gruesomely delightful treat, you'll need to order a brain-shaped ice cube tray or jello mold—available on Amazon or specialty stores. Without it, you're just making a regular jello shot, and where's the zombie fun in that?

By the Mold

Ingredients:

1 (3 oz) Box Strawberry Jello Mix

- 1 cup Boiling Water

- 1/2 cup Watermelon Pucker

- 1/2 cup Vodka

Instructions:

1. Begin by bringing 1 cup of water to a boil in a medium saucepan.

2. In a medium mixing bowl or a 4-cup glass measuring cup, pour in the strawberry jello mix. Carefully add the boiling water to the jello mix, whisking until the jello is completely dissolved.

3. Once the jello is dissolved, add 1/2 cup of watermelon pucker and 1/2 cup of vodka to the mixture. Whisk everything together until well combined.

4. Pour the jello mixture into your brain-shaped mold, making sure it's stable and level.

5. Place the mold in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2-3 hours, or until the jello is fully set and firm to the touch.

Serving Instructions:

Mold Release: To remove the jello brain from the mold, briefly dip the mold in warm water, then gently invert it onto a plate. Be careful to maintain the brain shape.

Presentation: Serve on a platter for a chilling effect. This isn't just a jello shot—it's a brain ready to satisfy the zombie in you.
