Taran Pov
After Taran ran off and disappeared into the forest, without looking back even once, he were determined to just leave. He knew that he were already told not to run off into the forest, but all that he seemed to just have forgotten as he were too broken and he let his mind wander off, not thinking about the consequences.

He finally stopped running as he were now standing in the middle of the forest, looking around, to see nothing but fir trees surrounding him. He began to feel frightened by being alone under the shadows of the tall trees. The sound of cracking sticks and footsteps in the thick snow had made him look back, but he were unable to see anything or anyone around him, he were all alone.. or so he thought.

Without noticing it, an male elf were sitting on one of the large branches, hidden away behind the fir trees leaves and observed the small child there looked around his new surroundings. The elf narrowed his gaze to get a better look at the child.
He holds his breath as he saw the same characteristics as Sylvar, this young boy were an the son of an Drow, which makes him one of the enemies as well. The elf grabbed his bow and one of his arrows and pointed it at the child. He were hesitant as he knew that the child were as innocent and clear as the snow, but he also knew that he had to follow the orders he had been given and without anymore thinking, he shot the arrow.

The sharp blade of the arrow hit Taran in his chest and he fell back onto the snow. His vision had gotten blurry as he slowly began to lose consciousness. Blood spilled out from the wound on his chest, along with the huge amount of blood there dripped down from the corner of his mouth.

Lolas Pov
After Taran left him alone outside the hut, he knew that he had to find him before he gets lost in the woods. He ran off as well to follow Taran.

After some time, he found himself lost, but the traces of his brother's footsteps in the snow leaded him the way and he didn't stopped, until he saw the unpredictable sight in front of him. He saw his brother laying on the ground, blood spilled out of his body and his eyes had turned dark, his skin were as pale as the snow..
Tears welled up in Lolas' eyes as he never expected to see his own brother getting killed by an arrow there flew through the air.

Suddenly an arrow were shot in Lolas' direction, but someone had grabbed his small body and holds him tightly as he got swung aside, in case to avoid the flying arrow.
The little boy were shocked to see his father holding him in his embrace..
He looked down at him with a serious, stern and angry gaze, his eyes were filled with tears as he looked back up to see his youngest son laying on the ground, soaked in his own blood.

As the rainstorm of arrows continued, he turned around on his heels and took off in an run and made his way back to the hut.

Y/n Pov
The empty silence outside the hut were killing her as she looked around from the small veranda, in hope to see her sons and Sylvar, but without any luck.
Soon the sound of heavy footsteps could be heard echoing from inside the forest. Sylvar soon appeared from behind the trees with Lolas in his arms..
"W-Where is Taran?" Her heart continuously kept beating uncontrollably fast as she looked up at Sylvar, who just remained silent as he put Lolas down and dragged him inside the hut.
The worse thoughts were roaming around in her head as she were unable to see her youngest son anywhere around. She wanted to run off to find him, but she also knew that it were dangerous to enter the forest all alone and she needed answers to her question.

She went inside where she saw Sylvar standing in front of Lolas, who were crying badly, "I'm.. s-sorry.. d-dad.." Sylvar clenched his fists and gritted his teeths as he looked down at Lolas, "do you even know what just happened, uh? I've told you both that it were dangerous to enter that damn forest and yet you disobeyed me! Now look what happened!!" Tears floated down from Sylvar's eyes as he yelled at his son, "your brother is no longer alive! And that is all because of you, Lolas!" Sylvar's eyes turned dark red as he looked at his son.

Y/n stood in silence, her world broke down the moment she heard Sylvar mentioned Taran and that he were no longer alive. Tears fell uncontrollably down her red cheeks as she stood on the sideline and just listened to Sylvar scolding their son.
"Is.. Is Taran..is he-" Sylvar turned his attention back at Y/n, his gaze softened as he went over and gently wrapped his arms around her, without a word, he silently nods, causing Y/n to burst out in tears. His hand gently ran down her back trying to comfort her through her fallen tears and choking sobs.
Sylvar peeked through his tears, looking down at his son who stood in silence while looking down, he were ashamed and disappointed of what his son had done, cuz he knew that Lolas had been badly teasing Taran whenever it comes to being genetic to the Drows.
Lolas is more like an Drow, while Taran were more like an human, even though he were characteristically looking like an Drow, he were more weak and vulnerable - but neither did any of those things mattered to Sylvar, he loved Taran as much as he loves Lolas, but now when he never is gonna be able to hold him close, he were lost in sadness and anger.

His eyes were glowing brightly as he got eye contact with Lolas. Shivers ran down his spine like a thousand electric shocks there sprung through his small body.
His body became weak and trembling as he felt his father's dangerous glare, stabbing him like an million knives.
"I'm sorry.." he muttered as he rubbed his left arm while he looked down, avoiding Sylvar's burning gaze, "go to your room, now!" Sylvar commanded while he still holds around Y/n, as she were crying badly, barely able to breathe through her constant choking sobs.
Lolas gulped hard as he turned around and slowly went towards the stairs, leaving the small living room, where his parents were standing together, suffering from the lost of their youngest son, who brutally died.
