Ramirah Shiloh Capri - Almost Carter

6 Months Later

The day of our engagement party had finally arrived, and I could hardly contain my excitement. The whole thing was a dream and I couldn't even believe that I'm really engaged, Solana and I had thrown together this little intimate celebration in a matter of weeks. I had been bouncing between the kitchen and the living room, making sure everything was perfect.

"Mmm baby you look so  good."I said as Solana walked in the kitchen with hair in a ponytail— one my favorites, looking good as ever. She was wearing this sleek, tan matching set which made her look like she was crafted by God, especially for me. And I am more than glad to call her my fiancée and soon to be wife.

Solana smirked pulling me closer by my waist "You look beautiful, mama," she replied.

I was in my element tonight, but a part of me was still nervous. I wasn't gonna let anything ruin my night, Im counting down the days until I'm Mrs.Capri-Carter.

Everybody knows I'd never been one to let my guard down easily, but with Solana, it was so so so different. I felt like she could see right through me, and that made me vulnerable in a way I wasn't used to and at first I hated it.

The room was filled with our closest friends and family, everyone mingling and laughing. I found myself with my bestie- Solana's mom, taking shots at the bar stealing glances at everyone to make sure they were enjoying the party but Solana's eyes were locked on me.

It was like she had this spell on me, always making me feel special even in a room full of people. And that's why I couldn't wait to get on my knees tonight.

At one point, I caught her looking at me with that look she always gives me when she's about to tell me she loves me "Hey pretty, are you single by chance?" she teased

I rolled my eyes, but couldn't help but smile at her goofiness, "Maybe I am. I did hear that everybody is single until marriage."

Solana playfully rolled her eyes and took my hand, pulling me into a slow dance. The noise seemed to blur in the background as we danced together, lost in our own little world. Her touch was warm and warmed me up feeling butterflies in my stomach, and I felt all the love and respect she had for me in every step while we danced to Why I Love You.

"Solana, you're really making me fall for you all over again," I whispered, letting myself get caught up in the moment getting emotional.

Solana 's grip tightened and she leaned in close. "Well, I'm not planning on letting up anytime soon." she murmured, her breath hot against my ear.

I leaned into her, feeling that familiar blend of love and lust that usually lingered around us. The night was ours, and I was savoring every second of it. It wasn't just an engagement party—it was a celebration of us, of our love and the life we were building together.

And as I looked into my baby's eyes, I knew that no matter what challenges came our way, we'd face them together, hand in hand as wives, forever.

The sound of laughter and the gentle clinking of glasses filled the room, but all I could focus on was the warmth of Solana's hand caressing my thighs. I squeezed it tightly letting her know to relax before she got me all hot.
