And when the first night came,
I was afraid,
Scared of not seeing the sun again,
Panicking to the point of madness,
Scared of having lost myself alongside your hips,
Crossing the door and leaving it ajar,
With a muttered good bye,
An elusive sight,
And my delusional thoughts that I was just a bad dream....
But I wasn't,
I was all by myself, again,
Just like a newly born turtle dug in wet sand,
Fighting it's way to the unknown ocean,
Watching out for predators,
With cries overshadow by the rumbling of menacing waves...
The first night without you came so sudden,
That these crystal walls all cracked at once,
And the enchanted castle turn into debris...
Echoing a name that wasn't mine nor yours,
A name that pierced my heart like a bullet,
When your lips, your sweet lips,
Those I thought were just for me,
Shape it in the air,
Proclaiming you loved him more.
