It's finally over,
Just like an aircraft crash,
I had lost my sanity,
You had lost your soul,
Both of us had lost notion of time,
Has it been a year as long as a century?
Or has it been a century as short as a day?
Everything is shattered,
Debris scattered all over,
We are the survivors of a cataclysm,
A volcano eruption which has covered everything with ash,
Old photos stained with remorse,
Promises that were as vague as religion itself...
We hugged, we kissed, we cried,
We finally said goodbye,
Feeling as if we had survived,
But not knowing why.
