"Paisley Shay opens this door right this instant!" My mom's voice came through my locked bedroom door.

I jumped at her voice and rolled my eyes at her, staring back into my vanity mirror, my hair was freshly dyed with baby pink highlights in my light brown hair, I sighed knowing once I opened the door my mom was going to have a heart attack. I walked to the door and unlocked it, my mom swung it open once she heard the door unlock.

When she saw my hair, her eyes widened and her lips went into a thin line.

"What in the world did you do to your hair?!" She said in a mad tone.

"I got bored...I thought it looked cute." I explained and used an innocent tone, knowing she wouldn't get too bad.

She sighed and rolled her eyes, "Meet me in my office, I have things of much greater importance than this."

I nodded my head and went to put clothes on that didn't have hair dye all over it. I put on a white dress with pink flowers on it with pink vans. Mom hates it when I dress in anything but dresses and skirts. I finally head down the huge hall to the elevator and go to my mom's office. I knock on the door before coming in and sitting down in a chair in front of her desk.

"Thank you for changing outfits without me having to tell you, sweetpea." She said, looking me up and down and smiling.

I roll my eyes ever so slightly. "What was the important information?"

"Oh yes..I have a mission for you." She opens a drawer under her desk and grabs a folder, handing it to me.

"I need you to go down to the real world and get rid of a boy." She watches as I scroll through the pages, she stops my movement as I land on a page with a boy on it. He looks around my age, a little bit taller. He has dark brown hair, Green eyes, and a scary smirk with blood all over his face. He is in a suit.

"Him? He looks harmless other than the blood." I question.

"He's not." She closes the folder and I look at her. "He is trying to end the world, you see..He worked here before when you were 7 or so. He has been stuck in a different timeline due to his powers and now he is trying to start the apocalypse. You need to go to New York."

My face frowns up. "So do I need to kill him? Or bring him back here?" I ask

"Dead or alive, he needs to be brought back here...He also has a family, they are called The Umbrella Academy...be prepared for a messy fight sweet pea." My mom smiles at me.

I nod, "When do I leave?"

"Now, get your bags, pack clothes and all the needed things, and get a briefcase, you know the drift." My mom stands up from her desk and walks me out of her office, I follow her.

I nod and when we get into the hallway, she pulls me into a hug. "Don't let me down, sweetpea."

"I won't Mom." I mumble "You know I won't".

I left her hallway and made my way back to my room. Once I got there I grabbed my suitcase and packed a bunch of clothes, needed things, and weapons. Once I was done, I went to my door, made one more swoop of my room, and closed the door. I went down to the elevator and made my way to the briefcase room, took one, and went outside. People said bye to me before calculating the time on the briefcase and going to New York City.

I felt the ground below me crumble and a big light flash. I closed my eyes, and a few seconds later I heard loud noises and felt the ground under my feet again. I open my eyes to see a big city and bright flashing lights radiating off of buildings.

"Move out of my way." A random stranger mumbled and shoved my shoulder as they were walking.

I scoffed and rolled my eyes. "Already want to get home," I mumbled under my breath.

I started walking around, pulling out my phone and googling hotels near me. I found a few so I decided to go to the closest one, I arrived at this very tall building, "Hilton Garden." I read out the name before walking in the big doors. I see a huge room with a desk and a lot of people. I walk up to a desk and see a tall man with a mustache.

"Hi, I would like a room for the night." I smiled.

"That would be 155 dollars." He leaned onto the desk.

My face reddened as I realized I didn't bring money, I checked my pockets just in case and felt something in my pocket. My face relaxed when I saw a lot of money with a note.

Knew you would forget, love Mom.

I sighed happily and handed them the amount they needed, putting the rest in my pocket.

He gave me a room card and I thanked him, walking away to my room on the 4th floor, I took the elevator, made it to the 4th floor, and looked for room 78. I found it and went inside. It was a small room but it was pretty with an okish few. I wouldn't be spending much time here anyway.

I sat my stuff down and sat down on the bed, I turned the TV on for a second so I could relax a second before I had to leave. A familiar movie came on "The Love Game." I smiled at the romance movie and watched the main character, a tall dark-skinned woman with pretty curly hair and a pretty smile. I forgot the name of the actress sadly.

I was focused on the movie when I heard a small bang come from the bathroom. I knew what it was, my mom sent a note.

I walked to the bathroom and opened the hidden spot that my mom magically made. Inside was a capsule with a note. I opened it.

"Go to Griddy's Doughnuts, at 9 pm, you will see your target." From-The handler.

I sighed, putting it down on the bed and grabbing a different outfit that I could fight in. I put on black leggings and a black, "Lover" T-shirt. I grabbed my pastel pink mask to cover my face so he wouldn't see who he was fighting and people couldn't call the cops on me. I grabbed my phone and stuck it in my pocket along with the money and left the hotel.
