Mavuika's office was heavy with tension as she leaned back in her chair, her gaze shifting between you and Kinich. The room was dimly lit, the blinds drawn tightly, adding to the somber atmosphere. She sighed deeply, rubbing her temples before speaking.

"You two need to investigate Albert's actions thoroughly," she began, her tone serious. "But you have to be careful. The media has painted Albert as a hero. He's seen as someone who's done what others couldn't—deliver justice swiftly. If he gets arrested, the public won't take it well. They could protest, riot, even destroy everything in their path."

You felt a knot forming in your stomach. The stakes were high, and one wrong move could ignite a powder keg. "What exactly do you want us to do, Madam?" you asked, trying to keep your voice steady.

Mavuika glanced at Kinich, who was standing beside you with his arms crossed, his usual cold demeanor in place. "You'll need to gather evidence, find out if there was any foul play or if Albert acted outside the law. But tread carefully—if you expose something that paints him in a bad light without concrete proof, the backlash could be catastrophic."

Kinich's eyes narrowed, and he uncrossed his arms, stepping forward slightly. "I work better alone," he said curtly. "Having someone tailing me is just going to slow me down."
