Sorry for getting the milk guys...It was yummy..
You couldn't sleep for a while, Just giggling at him... Just you became nervous! Why! YOU FUCKING DON'T KNOW!
You felt a haze settle over your mind as you processed the conversation swirling around you. The tension in the air was palpable as Kinich kept pressing you, his intense gaze scrutinizing yours. Your heart raced as you downed the beer he pushed toward you, feeling the alcohol warm your cheeks.
"You're looking nervous," Kinich remarked with a calm, steady voice, though there was something unreadable in his expression. It was nothing at all.
"I feel like a shit, Kinich..." you tried to keep your voice steady, but it came out softer than you intended. The last time you were together like this, your cheeks burned with the memory.
"Sleep then?" he replied, his tone cool, his eyes scanning you for a reaction.
"No, no. I just..."
"Drink water," he said, though his voice was more like an order than a suggestion.
You took a sip, letting the taste wash over you, you couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. Why was he being so insistent?
Soon you found yourself stumbling through your thoughts. Kinich asked about some investigation, and you struggled to focus. "Field experience? If you meant Sayahime!!! Think like a police to find that bitch!" you replied, feeling like you were grasping at straws.
Kinich's gaze was piercing, and his presence was commanding, making you feel smaller, more vulnerable. "No, think like the criminal," he urged, his voice firm, yet there was something almost protective beneath it.
You wanted to protest, to tell him that you couldn't understand that world, but all you could do was nod. "That may be impossible for me."
"Your mind is too pure," he said bluntly, as if it were just a fact.
"Me?" you asked, feeling a flush rise to your cheeks. "But that's the same thing as saying I'm innocent."
"Exactly," he muttered, but there was a tension in his words, like he was holding something back.
Suddenly, something surged in your veins, emboldening you. "What are you talking about?" you asked, your words tumbling out. "You treat me like I'm just a pet or something!"
Kinich raised a brow, his tone unchanging. "Are you trying to pick a fight?"
"Maybe I am," you shot back, the alcohol fueling your courage. "You're always so cold, so distant, but then you're kind when it matters, and it's confusing! "
"....."
"You're not even cold... You just behave like that because people, just see your face and decide it. I just talked for a few and you already gotten so comfortable and you treated me with respect. And cough... You are trying to leave me... I know once you fucking find who the fuck is sayahime. You will leave me. Saying it was fun while it lasted.."
The silence that followed was thick with unspoken tension. You felt your heart pounding, your emotions bubbling over. "Tell me you won't leave," you demanded, your voice trembling. "Say it, or else..."
"Or else what?" he challenged, though his tone was calmer, more controlled.
"Or else I'll cry!" you blurted out, your feelings getting the best of you. The truth was pouring out now, unchecked by your usual restraint, and before you knew it, tears were streaming down your face.
