lhaitham's presence was sudden and commanding. he approached the police station, his gaze was fixed directly on you, his expression as cold and unreadable as ever. You felt his eyes piercing through you, and it took all your composure to maintain a calm demeanor.
"Y/n L/n," Alhaitham said with an edge of authority in his voice. "I need to speak with you."
You met his gaze with a fleeting, almost imperceptible smile, a brief flash of warmth before you regained your cool composure. "You must be Detective Alhaitham," you said smoothly. "Mavuika is in her office. If you need to speak with her, that’s where you’ll find her."
Alhaitham’s eyes remained locked on you as he walked past, his stride deliberate and unyielding. You couldn’t help but let a small, malicious grin slip onto your face. The way he watched you, his intensity, seemed almost like a challenge, and you were more than ready to meet it.
