ALESSANDRA'S POV

I was reading in the not‐so-crowded library. A message pops on my phone's lockscreen. I looked at the sender's name, it's from Theo. I opened and read it.

Where are you right now?

I typed, in the library, and sent it. After few seconds, the message got replied.

OK. Meet me in the Cafe at six.

I sent a thumbs-up emoji and kept down my phone and resumed my reading.

The days went by, tedious and dull. With everyone gone for vacations, I was left alone. Theo and I met once a day, that's around evening after his work in the cafe. Thankfully, the Cafe had gone uncrowded because of the vacation.

Sometimes I feel it's better that everyone had gone home. Theo didn't seem so keen on hiding whatever we both had between us. Infact, I feel like he wants everyone to know, I belong to him and him only.

In the weekend, Theo was going home for two days and he insisted me to tag along with him. I respectfully refused but then he just abducted me or something like that. He told me he was taking me to a place and only after reaching there I knew, it's his house he had bought me to.

That's what he does, he takes what he wants. He never asks. He just takes.

And here I stood infront of a gothic manor. The house was majestic and looked nothing less than a palace. But, the manor had a menacingly dark air hung around it. Maybe because of the location, this the only house here, the last house was some miles back.

Theo holds my hand and takes me inside with him.

The inside was as enormous and beautiful as the outside. An old lady, the caretaker of the house welcomed us. She was surprised to see me and looked at Theo. By the look on her face, I could tell, it's the first time, he had ever bought any girl to this house.

In the afternoon, she made us delicious homemade lunch for both of us, that I had long forgotten the taste of. Theo tells her to clean two rooms before he took me to buy clothes and my necessities.

Surprisingly, the shopping didn't took that long. We'd everything we needed to buy, within an hour and headed back straight to the manor afterwards.

Once I'm cleaned and all freshened up, I went out of the room wearing my new light beige colored pjs which had these cute little bear faces printed on it. Atleast it's better than those bright pink ones they had in that shop.

Theo had told me he'll be staying in the room right opposite to mine, across the hall. So, i walked to his door and knocked on the wood gently.

" I'm here. " I turn back surprised, on listening to his voice from my back. Theo stood in his loose white t-shirt and black sweatpants. " Need anything? "

" Yes, a house tour of this palace you live in, your highness. "

His gaze narrowed down on me. " What books are you reading these days? "

" Mostly, fictional and less scientific. "

" Stop reading them. " He tells sternly.
