Jax
My I'm tired, my alarm went off at half four, before the cockerel even crows. I need to get all my chores out the way before I take Lily Mae to see the doc. It's worth being this tired for Lily Mae, honestly, I'd walk t the end of the earth and back for her.
Seeing her wincing in pain yesterday really tugged at my heart. I know she's a fierce and independent woman but still. Nobody like to see anyone they love in pain and yes I do still love Lily Mae.
It matters not to me that she went off to the city six years ago, she had a dream that was bigger than living in Whispering Pines and working on her daddy's Eagle Ranch. Although, I know it hurt his heart some when his only daughter left. Hell it almost broke her mother, but they're good folks and want what Lily Mae wants.
I've showered, eaten some oatmeal and had a nice, strong coffee. I've got a stray cat that comes in from time to time, she's a damn cute little ball of fluff, the vet said she's about eleven months old. I called her Smudge since she looks like a Bengal with those amazing markings, and on her nose she has a black smudge. According to the vet, she's fine and healthy but holy cows, the little thing treat my cabin like some kind of darn hotel.
One minute she's in then she's out. But she knows when it's time to eat. I can't resist her anything. Smudge is here right now with me doing her best to get me to fuss her and pick her up. Instead, I give her some treats because I'm about to head out the door to go mend some fences.
She eats them up then licks her paws, God it's cute. I'm pretty sure one day soon this little madam is going to be sleeping indoors with me and snuggling up with me. Don't ya all go telling anyone but I'm looking forward to that. I kinda like the idea of her finally trusting me enough to want to make me her person.
I reach for my cowboy hat and head out the door. I can see the lights are already on in the office cabin, Lily Mae's dad must be there already. He's an early riser like the rest of us but to be fair we are all usually in bed by nine thirty. Except last night I couldn't stop thinking about Lily Mae when I got in and let my mind wander to those damn fine curves of hers. It didn't take long before I was growing a speedy erection and well, you know, I had to go and take myself off to the shower and give myself some much needed relief.
Kinda felt bad though with her all laid up with a sore ankle an' all but imagining her on her knees with my cock head running across those plump lips of hers, and her tongue swirling around the head was more than I or my cock could handle.
Whistling I make my way to the cabin office and open the door. "Good morning, Sir. Up early."
"We have a lot of work on this morning, Jax. Hear you're taking my girl to the docs. That's good of you."
"Yes, Sir. We'll get her fixed up in no time."
"Good job, she's like a monster when she can't get her own way and having her off her feet it going to give me a headache, especially with this event coming up. Say, I hear you're offering a couple of your paddocks, that's pretty damn decent of you, Son."
He always calls me son, I like it. I'm guessing he was a bit hurt when Lily Mae and I didn't get to have our engagement and wedding. I know this man loves me like one of his own. I have a lot of respect for Mr Thompson, he's one good, hard working man. A proper salt of the earth type of guy.
Hendricks and Wesley come sauntering in dragging their feet. Their father raises his eyebrows at them. "What's up with you two? Look like you're being marshalled and taken to the gallows, let's be havin' ya."
"It's early, Pop." Hendricks says shuffling to a weathered, brown leather chair in the corner.
"Then you shouldn't stay up all night womanizing. When I was your age...." Mr Thompson begins. Hendricks pulls his hat down over his eyes and crosses his arms.
