Raoul and his father had made up, and he begged Raoul to come home, so he did. She put on a yellow shirt with white jeans and walked downstairs to meet her in the kitchen.
"Good morning, Christine. How is Raoul doing? It's been a few days since he went back home." Gustave said.
"I think he's okay. I check up on him every day, though, just to make sure." Christine laughed.
Gustave smiled and kissed the top of her head.
"Have a good day at school. I'll see you for your doctor's appointment." He said.
Christine nodded and grabbed her things. She waved goodbye as she walked outside and waited for Antionette's car. They pulled up and Christine hopped inside, smiling.
"Hey, Chrissy." Meg said.
"Hi, Meg. Thank you for the ride, Antionette." Christine said.
"It's no problem." Antionette smiled.
They drove down the road to school and listened to some music. Around ten minutes into the drive, Antionette received a phone call. She turned down the music and answered it.
"Hello?" She asked.
Someone on the other line sounded very agitated.
"Gosh, Erik, okay. We're on our way." She said, hanging up.
"Girls, we're picking up Mr. Destler." Antionette said.
She made a U-turn as she pressed a button and the music played again. They stopped on the side of the road where a car had broken down. Erik was running his fingers through his hair and pacing on the sidewalk. He noticed their car pulling up and he quickly got on the phone.
"Yes, Daroga, you will fix it. No, I won't pay you! You don't work for me jackass, you live with me. I'm sending the car over and it better be fixed by the time I get home or-" He was cut off by the other person hanging up. He growled and walked over to the man with the tow truck. He pulled out a large wad of cash and shoved it in his hands."Take it to my house, someone there will fix it." Erik said, after giving him the address.
The man hooked his car onto his own vehicle and started to drive away. Erik sighed and got into Antionette's car.
"You seem to be having a good morning." Antionette said, jokingly.
"Be quiet." Erik snapped.
He leaned his head back but furrowed his brows, after getting a whiff of some familiar, lavender perfume. He sat back upright and turned his head to the backseat. Two girls stared at him and Meg waved sarcastically.
"I didn't know you carpooled, Antionette." Erik smirked.
"Shut up, Erik. It's called being a good parent." She said.
"Did you girls do your homework?" Erik asked.
"Yes." Christine said.
"No." Meg said.
Christine laughed at her.
"Megan, why didn't you do your homework?" Antionette sighed.
Meg blushed.
"I forgot." She said.
Christine burst out laughing.
"Meg, you didn't even do your music homework?" Erik asked in a fake, sad tone.
"Don't patronize my daughter, Erik."
Erik laughed and Antionette elbowed him which made him laugh harder.

FanfictionHi everyone! This is a story I started a few years ago and just recently finished. I'd like to give a few warnings for mature context and mentions of SA/suicide. I also am not in any way romanticizing kidnapping, just wanted to put that out there. H...
