"Happy Birthday!" Meg yelled.

"Meg, my birthday is tomorrow." Christine pulled the covers over her head.

"Right, but today is your party. Get up. We have to buy a ton of booze."

"With what? We're both under 21."

"With my fake ID, of course. If not, Erik can buy us some if you flirt with him enough."

Christine rolled her eyes and rolled over in bed. Meg ripped the duvet off of her.

"I'll be back in ten minutes. Be ready."

Christine reluctantly stood and got dressed. She threw her hair in a loose ponytail and put her contacts in. She brushed her teeth and walked into Meg's room.

"I let you sleep in so you wouldn't be tired tonight, so now we don't have much time. Let's go."

Christine groaned and Meg shoved her in the car. They drove to different gas stores buying as much alcohol as they could.

"This still isn't enough." Meg said, driving to Erik's house.

They stood at the door, Christine still half asleep and Meg pounding on the hardwood.

"I'm coming- oh hi." Erik's eyes widened.

"We need lots of alcohol." Meg walked in, Christine followed.

"Uh, we don't have much here. Maybe a bottle or two of wine and Brandy."

"No, what I mean is you need to buy us some. I bought as much as I could."

"With what?"

"Fake ID."

Erik sighed and rolled his eyes. Nadir walked in, laughing.

"Why is that not surprising?"

"Because it's me." Meg laughed.

Christine sat on the couch.

"I'll go out and buy alcohol because Erik will probably buy you hard scotch."

"That's what you serve at a party." Erik shrugged.

"For middle aged men. These are high schoolers. I'll go." Nadir grabbed his keys.

"I love you, Nadir. You're so cool." Meg went in for a hug and Nadir dodged it.

"Don't make it weird." He closed the door behind him and Christine laughed.

Meg sat down next to Christine with an embarrassed look on her face. Erik put an arm around Christine and kissed her temple.

"I'm so excited to give you your gift." He smiled.

"I bet whatever it is, I'll love it." She put her head on his shoulder.

"I hope so." He sighed.

They sat and talked until Nadir finally came back with boxes full of alcohol in his trunk.

"Holy shit." Meg's eyes widened and a grin appeared on her face.

"I've been to my fair share of ragers." Nadir rested his hands on his hips.

"This is so awesome. I'm going to vomit my guts up tomorrow morning."

Nadir just laughed and called Erik to transfer the boxes to Christine's car.

"So you guys can come at eight. Leave whenever you want but we're kicking people out by four." Meg said, getting in the car.

"Where are your parents in all of this?" Erik scoffed.
