Katara
We had been flying for 2 days when it started to really annoy me. She was always with him. Everywhere he turned, she was there. I couldn't ever find a moment alone with him. Not that I wanted to be alone with him in any case. I try to tell myself that.

„Katara?" I blinked a few times after realizing the was person talking to me.

„Hmm?"  I hummed in return. Haru sighed before speaking again.

„I asked if you would go and get the fire wood." I let out a giggle to cover my embarrassment.

„Of course I can." With that I turned around and began walking into the forrest. We set up camp near a river for the night. Nights were the worst for me. I could never get enough sleep. Sometimes I didn't sleep at all. I wanted to get to the North Pole as fast as possible.

As I went deeper into the forrest, I got more and more disappointed. Everything was wet. I hadn't noticed the rain since we were flying above the clouds. Just as I was about to turn around, I heard sticks breaking. I quickly turned to that direction.

Sorry, didnt mean to sneak up on you." Aang was standing there with a half smile. I let out a breath of relief.

„It's okay. You just startled me." I said afterwhich he came to my side and looked around.

„Guess we won't have a bonfire tonight." He said stepping on some wet wood.

„Guess not." I replied. There were a few seconds of silence were I contemplated if I should say something. Before I could make a decision, he spoke.

„Katara, I've been meaning to ask you something." My heart started racing a little. I nodded before collecting myself.

„Well uh- after we arrive at the North Pole, Kyiosana and I will not stay there long and we probably won't see each other for a while. Will you then come too? Or well, what's your plan?"  It was nice of him to invite me but I knew I wouldn't.

„To be honest, I don't really know what I'll do. I guess I will let fate decide where I end up. You should go alone with Kyiosana. Just don't worry about me." He smiled and let out a breath of what I think was relief.

„I'm surprised she hasn't cut down the forrest looking for you." He chuckled and scratched his neck.

„We should probably get back before she does." I nodded and started walking with him out of the forrest. After a few minutes of walking, we were almost there. I stopped and he turned to look at me.

„I'm really glad we're friends again, Aang." He smile and came closer.

„I told you, we never stopped being friends and we never will." He put a hand on my shoulder after which he pulled me into a warm embrace.

I know." I said before burying my head into his tunic. We were suddenly interrupted by someone.

„There you are." His girlfriend said which prompted him to break our embrace. I turned to look at her.

„I see you didn't find dry wood." Haru said coming from behind her. I shrugged and walked towards the camp we set up. It was getting really dark and even scarier without fire. Aang could firebend for a while but we would still need it to stay warm during the night. The nights were freezing, especially near the South Pole.

I started taking out some food I packed. As I was unloading the stuff, a shadow gloomed over me. I looked up and saw another pair of blue eyes. Except one was completely white. No doubt Kyiosana. This girl was everywhere.
