Down the halls, Polly and Katy walked. Polly seemed.. a bit agitated. Ofcourse Katy knew she couldn't just point it out, it'll nerve the hell out of Polly. The poodle paused their small walk at the door of the garden, shivering a bit as she struggles to unlock the door.
Katy: hey uh.. Polly..? Do you want me to help you- out-?
The poodle figited as she tried each key, ignoring Katy's assistance. Katy sighed, her long ears peering down in pity. The bunny was aware of Polly's condition, she recently broke her right arm. She wasn't always a Righty....
Back then..
A miniature bunny peeked over a tree, watching the young poodle interact with the others. She would peek over that same spot everyday, she wasn't really.. talkative at the time. She lived in a farm in the middle of nowhere for awhile, it feels strange seeing others in a new location.
One day, the poodle was crying while forcing their paw to carve words on the tree, that's.. unusual. Katy attempted to take a better look, but ended up falling over Polly.
Young! Polly: AA! who- who are you-?!
Young! Katy: Eeek!
Katy pulled down her ears to cover her face.
Young! Polly: Hey! Don't sneak up on a girl like that! That's probably why you won't be having a girlfriend- hmph!
Young! Katy: *sniffle* I'm a girl..
Young! Polly: Oh, uh- sorry..
Polly quickly wiped off her own tears, she mustn't show weakness to a possible friend.
Young! Polly: So uh.. how long were you here-?
Katy wiped nose, her ears peered up.
Young! Katy: Like uhh... awhile?
Young! Polly: Hehe, ew, that's weird! Why haven't I seen you play with me at least?
Young! Katy: um.. poofy.. why were oyu crying..?
Present
The garden door opened, both Polly and Katy sat by the nearest bench. Polly stared down at her right arm, sobbing a bit.
Polly: what can I do now without.. being able to write..? I have a project in a week- this will impact my...
The polly held her left hand to her chest, sniffling as she tried to take off the cast.
Katy: No- Polly! You need it to recover!
The poodle paused, wiping her tears.
Polly: You're right.. what a foolish thought.. hm..? Thanks for being there for me during my mistakes- all my flaws-
Katy: no- Polly! All your achievements are brighter than those small silly mistakes, you're a perfect student council president!
The poodle loosened her grip on her arm, sighing to herself as she looked down at the bunny.
Polly: You know what, Katy, you're right!
Polly would stand up, a hand extending to Katy for her to get up. Katy nodded silently with a sweet grin, raising herself up.
The two of them walked along the stone path, chatting away and giggling of all sorts of endeavors they experienced within the school day.
Katy: Oh, I recently found out your little rival, Edward, considered Orville to support him on school supplies. I wonder how he even convinced him-!
The bunny snickered, grinning ear to ear.
Polly: Pfft- besides that, any ideas that you have in mind-?
