Chapter 12 - Scattered Truth

Sunghoon and Yn walked into the fancy restaurant, hand in hand, looking like the perfect couple. Sunoo had planned this date for weeks, and they were both excited to spend some quality time together.

As they were led to their table, Sunghoon excused himself to use the men's restroom. Yn sat alone, sipping her water and admiring the elegant decor.

Just as she was starting to relax, a girl with piercing blue eyes and long, curly brown hair approached her table. She introduced herself with a sly smile.

"So, you are the little Miss Yn who's dating the perfect ice skater Sunghoon, huh?" Amie said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

Yn's instincts immediately kicked in, but she tried to remain calm. "Yes, that's me," she replied, her voice steady.

Amie's smile grew wider. "I'm Amie, Sunghoon's girlfriend since we were young. You won't know anything about me because  he never wanted to go public with our relationship because of our reputation as professional ice skaters."

Yn's eyes widened in shock, but she remained silent. Amie sneered at her, "You think you can just waltz into his life and steal him away from me? Think again, sweetheart."

Amie's words were laced with venom, and Yn felt a chill run down her spine. "Leave him alone, and never come near him again. Otherwise, you'll pay the consequences."

Yn still didn't say a word, but Amie's laughter echoed through the restaurant. "What a joke," she said, before turning and walking away.

Sunghoon returned to the table, oblivious to the drama that had just unfolded. "Hey, is everything okay? You look a bit pale," he said, concern etched on his face.

Yn's eyes locked onto his, and she asked, "Who is Amie?"

Sunghoon's expression changed from concern to confusion. "I don't know anyone by that name."

Yn's voice trembled as she spoke, "She came here and claimed that you two have been in a relationship since you were young. Why didn't you tell me that you already had a girlfriend? Was I just a toy for you?"

Sunghoon's face fell, and he looked like he'd been punched in the gut. He grabbed Yn's hand gently, his eyes pleading for her to believe him. "It's not true, Yn. I swear it's not true. I don't know what that girl is talking about."

But Yn was beyond consolation. She pulled her hand out from under his, her eyes welling up with tears. "I need to leave," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Sunghoon's face crumpled, and he looked like he was about to cry. "Yn, please... don't go. Let me explain..."

But Yn was already standing up, her chair scraping against the floor. She turned and walked away, leaving Sunghoon alone at the table, his world shattered.

Yn rushed through the front door, tears streaming down her face. She didn't even notice Sunoo standing in the living room, looking concerned.

"Noona, what happened? Why are you crying? Where's Sunghoon?" Sunoo asked, taking a step forward.

But Yn didn't hear him. She was too caught up in her own thoughts, reliving the painful encounter with Amie. She didn't even acknowledge her brother's presence, just kept walking towards her room.

Sunoo's expression changed from concern to confusion. He followed Yn, trying to get her attention. "Noona, what's wrong? Did something happen with Sunghoon?"

But Yn just kept walking, her eyes fixed on the floor. She didn't even notice when she reached her room, just pushed the door open and collapsed onto her bed.
